I'm about 130 lbs.
It was a pretty crappy cloth belt with some leather piece for fastening. The leather piece broke off. Pretty impulsive and stupid decision on my part.

There are a number of factors, the rope/belt/ligature breaking, the survival instinct where your body involuntarily pulls off the rope or whatever out of desperation to survive, not tying it properly and slipping out of the noose.
Nope just the leather part of the belt which made it connect/fasten.
