• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

Preferably before the event. I'm visualizing it and it's so scary. I imagine my mind breaking due to shock as soon as I jump.

It could have the exact opposite effect.

You'll only know in the moment, kind of hard to predict. If it doesn't help, sober up and try again?

I think it depends on how your psyche reacts to alcohol. I would also say it depends on the quantity of alcohol you take. Too much and you are risking losing control of your senses.

Alcohol makes me an extrovert, friendly and talkative.

Alcohol also makes me an extrovert, friendly and talkative. It greatly reduces my anxiety. So in your case, it may help a lot.

As others have said: it might, and it might not. There's no way to know for sure. Plenty of people who do commit suicide do get drunk first, however, so it seems to work for some.

I don't drink much so how much of a bottle of jack should I drink? The whole bottle would probably ruin the attempt. There's a barrier I have to climb over and there might be people around so I don't know if I could just guzzle it there.

Everybody reacts to alcohol differently. Personally for me, I'll drink 2-3 shots of Captain Morgan Rum and chase it down with a can of Coors Light beer. The combination works for me, but may not work for others.

So guzzling hard liquor would make me pass out before I could jump?

If you jump from a suitable height then I guess it doesn't matter wether you jump or stumble of the edge.if you become extra talkative and friendly after drinking there will be more chance you may be talked down and just want to be everyone's friend.
I can see this method takes guts and why you feel the need for alcohol though.

I hadn't thought of being talked down and being vulnerable due to alcohol.

Nobody knows.

If you plan to avail yourself of liquid courage, then you'll simply have to experiment with alcohol and find out how you react to it. Nobody can predict these entirely personal, individual things for you.

I was talked down and so annoyed about it.so many people called police and it was a member of the public that distracted me until the police took me away.so maybe time of day matters too to limit the number of people around.

1.45 in the afternoon. Bad time! But it had to be in the day as son at school.

I was a very severe alcoholic who drank 20 shots of vodka a day on average for over 10 years. What I noticed is when I got really drunk, the desire to kill myself was very strong, and I was numb enough to do it if I had the means, which I did not back then. After passing out and going to sleep, I would then wake up and want to live. I have come to the realization that I will have to get really drunk to do it when the time comes. I have nitrogen, so this will be easy.

Well I don't think we'll be able to drink after!

On a serious note though, I'm gonna be hammered before I do it, I don't want any thoughts clouding my decision. There are reasons why I shouldn't at the moment, and drinking will give me the fuck it attitude.

I plan to do it from a bridge. There'll be people walking along it. There's also a 5 ft barrier. How do i get hammered there? It's almost a thousand feet up so that's a big plus.

Sorry if that offended you, was a bad attempt at a joke. How do you get hammered there? Take a bottle with you, find somewhere to sit, and when noones looking, drink away. I don't this place, so maybe there is a defining reason why you can't drink there, but I've managed to drink everywhere I wanted to. I'm an alcoholic, so in my head, if I'm gonna drink, nothings gonna stop me. So what is actually stopping you from drinking once you get there?
