• Hey Guest,

An update on the OFCOM situation: As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. OFCOM, the UK’s communications regulator, has singled out our community, demanding compliance with their Online Safety Act despite our minimal UK presence. This is a blatant overreach, and they have been sending letters pressuring us to comply with their censorship agenda.

Our platform is already blocked by many UK ISPs, yet they continue their attempts to stifle free speech. Standing up to this kind of regulatory overreach requires lots of resources to maintain our infrastructure and fight back against these unjust demands. If you value our community and want to support us during this time, we would greatly appreciate any and all donations.

Does anyone know if I'll still be eligible for burial in a green eco friendly cemetery if I die by SN? I'm just concerned that my body would poison the decomposers (insects, vegetation and other critters that would eat me.)

The cemetery I'm looking at is apart of the "green burial council" but I'm having trouble finding this specific information about SN out. And I'm nervous to ask the cemetery directly in case it triggers a welfare check.

Thanks in Advance for any info you can provide!

you could register an email anonymously and then email a differrnt one outside your area to find out

if you do this, make sure you're browser is not identifying you by your unique hardware ID (ie, do not ise Chrome, use Tor).

Be careful if your OS is closed-source or has Microsoft AI in it. It's unclear whether it can report you. (It probably does but they only follow up on radical religious people.)

Does the cemetery have any rules surrounding the cause of death? I am also interested in this topic and, although I have not done extensive research, I have never seen anything addressing cause of death in green burials.

Why don't you call them & tell them a relative died of SN poisoning & ask if he qualified for a green burial.
My thought is that its fine, as the decedent will be embalmed first, so the presence of SN will probably be negligable.🤗🌹💔

Embalming does not necessarily remove toxins in the body and "traditional" embalming is not allowed in green burials as the chemicals involved are highly toxic. Many green burials merely use cold (refrigeration/ice) as a means of preservation instead of chemical embalming.

Ooh great idea and thanks for the tips on staying anonymous. I ended up doing this and this:
Why don't you call them & tell them a relative died of SN poisoning & ask if he qualified for a green burial.
I used an anon email and said I was inquiring on behalf of a friend's family. I used a fake surname common to the area.

Yes this is correct they do not allow embalming. That is all I could find in the rules section regarding the actual body.
interested as well. great question.
I'll keep you all updated on what they say!

Thank you for your input

Update: they got back to me but they replied with "sodium nitrate" instead of "sodium nitrite." Ugh. Not sure if I want to reply and correct them.

I did reply to clarify it's too important not to because I can't buy my plot without knowing first. I'll let you know how she replies.

Hey there here is an update! IMG 6562
For those of you using a screen reader the image is a screenshot of an email from the cemetery. It reads, "John. Thanks for correcting my typo! Sodium Nitrite (synthetic) — Sodium nitrate (naturally occurring, created during photosynthesis)
From our advisor,
Sodium Nitrite will very rapidly be oxidized in the soil by bacteria into sodium nitrate. Therefore, it is essentially like adding sodium nitrate to the soil, a fertilizer. In either case, it is not a problem unless very large quantities are added."

SN is not un-natural. It will break down with you.
