• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

Because if I were on them I'd have the energy to carry out cbt quicker. I have a plan and everything but my low energy is making it harder than it should.

Marz, I have been through a number of antidepressants, none have provided me with any energy. Most days it is all I can do just to get out of bed. I too think that if I had more energy it would be easier to exit. I have even "practiced" with the noose but just didn't finish. Sometimes I feel like a failure. I think I will reach a point where a certain peace will settle over me and I will just exit. Not because of medications, just because it is the right time.

Low energy is definitely a problem. Have you tried a stimulant? All the good ones require prescriptions, though, unless you're willing to import generic modafinil from India (I've, and it's pretty good).

You could try nutmeg, it has myristicin and elemicin. The latter being a hallucinogenic and the latter being a weak MAOI that has antidepressant properties.

I would strongly advise putting it in a plastic herbal capsule along with getting anti-emetics because it makes you nauseous. Either that or get nutmeg oil from a herbal store.

It really depends on what are your goals, and which you have access to. I've generic modafinil (Modalert 200mg), which is quite powerful. I use to give me focus and let me finish my work quickly.

After some research, I've settled on taking it no more than once a week, to avoid building up tolerance. It makes me mega-productive and focused for a day (I can even skip sleep one night without any penalties). If I need an extra boost, take two in one week, but I avoid this.

I've never taken Adderall, but it's profile is similar to Ritalin. My experience with Ritalin Extend Release 20mg is similar with regard to productivity/focus. It doesn't enable you to stay awake 24hs, though.

I recommend trying starting with one pill once a week, taken early in the morning (to avoid insomnia), to see how it makes you feel.

Thank you for the advice.

Adderall and Ritalin are harder for me to get them.

I'm going to buy the generic presentation of modafil that sell in my country which is also of 200mg.

I will check the studies, thanks again.

You know whats interesing? Apparently the highest risk time for a depressed person to ctb isnt when they are too depressed to move or live but once they start getting energy back

I can't remember what the shrink perscribed at the time, I had to take a half tab every day then eventually up the dose to a full one but I hated it, just got side effects and stopped taking it.
