  • Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

It could speed things up for you, I know when I was unwell mentally and was in hospital for a week i had a lot of support from nurses, support workers and crisis team, I also had a lots of people phoning me to see how things are and even now a few months and I ended up getting a cpn, my name got moved the middle of list and not at the bottom (low priority) for therapy but then COVID happened and now they are waiting to be see patients again and extra help at university.

I would proceed with caution doing EMDR if you're suicidal. I was doing really well, was looking towards the future, was in a good routine etc and so thought might be stable enough for EMDR. I've had to quit after 4 sessions as it massively reactivated my suicidality and now I'm back in the hole.
Not to say it can't be helpful, just that for me, right now, it's making things worse.
I hope to one day be stable enough to give it another go coz it does seem to be incredibly helpful trauma therapy.
