• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

I think strict gun laws like in Germany are the right thing to do. Many in this forum envy Americans for their option to ctb with a gun.
I prefer living in Germany because of welfare, the better health care system and less shootings. I think the government could not be stopped with guns anyway if hell broke loose.

I generally have nothing against guns, but I don't want gun ownership to be too easy.
I live in Poland and I would maybe liberalize gun ownership a little, but only a little.
I'm glad I don't hear gunfire outside my window and I wouldn't want to change that.

Europe has its own problems.
We don't need to import problems from the US.

No. Civilized societies don't need guns.

About half or more of all (legal) gun deaths in the US are suicides.

I'm for freedom and human rights, including the right to bear arms to protect oneself, so yes.

I was never pro-liberal gun laws in the first place. I'd honestly prefer for my country to have even stricter gun control laws (and our gun control laws are already stricter in comparison to the ones in the US, but that's not saying much).

I'm UK based so, I haven't grown up with the idea that it's part of my human rights to own a gun. I just feel like it's a slippery slope. The more weaponised criminals get, the more everyone will start arming themselves and the more likely it is that someone will get shot! We get far fewer school shootings in the UK- presumably because there aren't so many guns about.

I actually think it's worth the sacrifice in a way- to not have access guns to suicide in the hopes that fewer people are wandering around armed to the teeth. I expect some still are though. Quite a few knife crimes recently in the UK. But, it's not the use in suicides that puts me off them- it's shootings in schools, shopping centres, public places.

I used to wish I could get a gun until I found out it was possible to fail an attempt with one. I'm not sure now whether I would even risk it if I could get one. Plus, the mess would be awful to clean up I imagine. I don't really want to distress people more than necessary.

I'm all for stricter gun laws in the US too. I'm too scared to ever consider using one to kill myself and I'd also rather have the extra peace of mind of not having to worry about being shot anytime I may minorly offend another person or if someone else just happens to be having a bad day.

Of course because Germany is smaller and less dangerous. The women don't have to worry about being attacked. I'll always support and be pro gun and it has nothing to do with ctb.

Americans who are anti gun have never grew up around danger which is why they "see" no reason for them. I mean how selfish to assume everyone lives in your safe bumble. On multiple different occasions men have tried to abducte me. So I'm always pro gun. The while argument is silly because criminals will still get a gun they have no issues breaking the law.

I think at least weapons like double-barrel shotguns should be allowed in every country for defending your home/suicide. There is no reason to ban all guns.
