• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

Currently I am watching some old TV shows, Cracker (1993), a British TV show about a criminal psychologist, and the Outer Limits (1995), an American sci-fi anthology TV show. They are the only things I can really get into at the moment and they help time to pass and avoid negative thoughts for a while. What films or TV shows would you recommend?

Lots of good recommendations here.

Donnie Darko is a good one.

The Crow is a good one. It can be a downer tho.

Happy Gilmore, is a good one. Just adding that to balance out the The Crow lol.

Really looking forward to the Crow remake. Like the cast

I think it's pretty underrated (outside of the UK, anyway).

I love Inside No.9 it can be abit hit and miss but the majority of the episodes are amazing and very clever

In terms of detective shows, for me personally you can't beat a bit of Columbo, one of the greatest TV shows ever made.

There are a lot of other shows I love but it would take ages to go into them here and I would no doubt miss many but can't go without mentioning Buffy the Vampire Slayer!

Agree with eternal pessimist regarding Memento, it's a great film, loads of twists and an ending I did not see coming.

One of my all time favourites TV shows is "House", I could watch it forever.

The Hobbit Trilogy will forever be my favourite media. I fucking love Smaug. And yes you read that right, I prefer the hobbit movies over Lord of the Rings. I just can't get enough of this magnificent flying disaster.

Favourite series is The Boys, Law and Order second.

Okay the lists on TV and film are endless. So I'll do top three of both.

TV:
- The Newsroom. 2012.
- A History of Britain with Simon Schama. 2000.
- Star Trek Voyager. 1995.

Film:
- Hamburger Hill. 1987.
- Bitter Lake. 2015.
- The Fifth Element. 1997.

Tomorrow I'll probably see this and think, yeah that's not quite right.
