Don't you find it ironic how everytime you see the message "You're Not Alone" you are reading it from a poster on a train platform or reading it from auto generated text on a Google search?

I mean, there isn't even a human to tell you that "You're Not Alone".

Just saying :/

I don't even know why pro lifers assume that every suicidal person is suicidal because they are alone or that not being alone matters to them. In my case, it doesn't matter the slightest as to whether I'm alone or not as that doesn't change what the reality of life is like

"You're not alone." Gives me no comfort. Are you telling me there are others who want to die? I don't know how that would be a good thing. Yes, sometimes it's nice when you have a group to turn to, but a lot of my discomfort with life is seeing other people struggle. I'm not going to pretend being an 'empath' or anything—I'm a neutral person at best. I just feel bad when the world is a hard place for others to live in. And it sucks seeing others live in poverty, fall victim to climate change, struggle with mental illness, face discrimination, endure war, lose loved ones and a bunch of other shit.

Do people expect me to say "yay" when they tell me others are suffering together with me, or have I completely misunderstood?

It goes into the same category as "It gets better." How would someone expect me to believe the phrase, when you told a younger person: "It only goes downhill from here on out" ten seconds ago?

True. I can even see it as antagonistic: 'you can't escape us'

Exactly. Its like. Why not just be honest.

You have to read a poster or auto generated text to tell yourself "You're not alone". Does the poster or auto generated text have feelings to care about you? :/

For some, that can be true. For others, not so much. It's a platitude that makes humans feel like they're helping.

Exactly, it feels like virtue signaling to make people feel better about themselves. Every time I hear it, it makes me feel worse.
