I struggle to find interesting subjects to read about, I would love to get back to reading as it distracts my mind, non-fiction only, I am really open to literally everything, I used to read about Philosophy/History/Religion/Socio-Politics, but it gets harder finding something that won't bore me

some books that I really liked:

Mitchell Heisman's Suicide note
Many of Nietzsche's works (one of the handful interesting philosophers I.M.O)
Max stirner's The Ego and its own
Might's right by Ragner redbeard (I don't endorse all his views but they're interesting I.M.O)
Schopenhuar's essays
Some books about N*zi history and the U.S.S.R
Some stuff on hinduism and eastern philosophies
Evola's books on Esotericism/"schizo" topics
Some books on animals and other historical topics

I know my taste's random or out of the place, but i am really open to literally everything (except if it's math books or Science)
yet it's very hard for me finding interesting topics/subjects to read about, sometimes the topic is interesting, but the author has a dull writing style and i just drop the book

Rabbit holes are what best distract me from wanting to CTB, seriously lol.

The sorts of rabbit holes that I'm most fascinated with have to do with true crime; more specifically, unsolved murders or disappearances. It's really intriguing for me to discuss these sorts of cases and speculate on what could have happened to these people, or who killed these people and why. Some specific cases that come to mind are:

Asha Degree -- nine year-old girl; went missing on Valentine's Day in 2000 from Shelby, North Carolina, USA. Two witnesses claim seeing a little girl matching her description walking down Highway 18 between 3:30 and 4:15 AM in the pouring rain. When a witness stopped to ask if she needed help, Asha -- presumably frightened -- ran into the woods adjacent to the highway. She's never been seen again. There have been very recent developments in her case!
Timmothy Pitzen -- six year old boy from Aurora, Illinois, USA; who went missing on May 12th, 2011, when his mother, Amy, picked him up from school early, without ever informing her husband, Timmothy's father, James Pitzen. Over that weekend, Amy drove Timmothy to various fun places like the zoo and waterparks, but never took him home. She ended up driving to a motel in Rockford, Illinois, showing up without Timmothy. She CTB. In her note, she said Timmothy is in a safe place but that he will never be found. He is still missing to this day.
Maura Murray -- 21 year-old woman who went missing from Havervill, New Hampshire, USA, under mysterious circumstances on February 9th, 2004. The morning of her disappearance, she e-mailed her professors, stating that there was a death in the family and wouldn't make it to school, but would return in about a week. No one had actually died. That day, Maura got into a one-car accident, crashing into a tree. It was the second car she had wrecked in three days; having wrecked her father's car in a previous accident. Police were called by a witness who lived next to the road where Maura had crashed. A bus driver had stopped and asked if she needed help, and Maura stated she didn't, and stated that she had already called AAA. She, in fact, did not call AAA. The bus driver left. By the time police arrived, ten minutes after the 911 call was placed, Maura was gone. She hasn't been seen again ever since.

These sources are just the tip of the iceberg for information on these cases. For some reason, I'm just fascinated by these unsolved murders/disappearances.
