• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

I do recall that video and have watched it before. It is very gory and graphic. I'm sure Mr. McNutt likely just went unconscious the moment of the shotgun blast and didn't really feel much. From an outsider's perspective, it does look very violent and brutal though.
That video still bothers me to this day, especially as a shotgun might end up being my method as it's the only thing available. Though, I only have a .410 while McNutt had a larger gauge. I hated that it was a trend to post him on TikTok for a bit. They would post edits, some even including the moment he did it, but most with the ringtone and a photo of him with the gun under his chin, or edits of him saying "Hey guys, I guess that's it" and then using some stupid edit format. I would report every one I saw and barely any of them had any action taken against the video.

I saw so many memes referencing McNutt (many comparing him to the last of us fungus) on mainstream meme accounts on IG with hundreds of thousands of likes. Truly disturbing the number of insensitive people. It's now mainstream to be an edgelord and I hate it.

I looked up one of these names and found my way to one of those sites where they show the videos. I sorta wish I hadn't.

The comments are pretty chilling, like, the people laughing and making light of these situations sure have something weird going on in their brains. I guess mental illness strikes all of us in different ways. I hope that particular manifestation never happens to me.

I watched a couple of videos and cried, partly in shock and sadness, and partially in a cathartic way. I'm holding on to a lot of pain right now and it's hard to make myself acknowledge that sometimes and let it go a bit. So in a horrible way it helped.

Yeah, I've seen the memes with the fungus. I also saw a lot comparing him to the hibiscus emoji (this one: 🌺). I haven't seen it Instagram, but I started using that more recently. I hate how people like to be edge lords as well. I cringe when I see people say that they watch gore videos like it's some sort of Medal of Honor. Insensitivity is certainly on the rise, despite society seeming more progressive.

I was like that once...when I was 17 yo. People in their 30s (I'm 33) and beyond seem to think more and more commonly that it's admirable to be callous. It's simply transparent and lacking in self-awareness though.

It's nice to see some maturity in these hellscape forums.

There are no documented cases, either in medical literature or other official sources, of people surviving a shotgun blast to the soft palate with a 12-gauge. It is an extremely lethal method, and there are no verifiable examples of survival. Any claim suggesting otherwise is unfounded and not supported by concrete evidence. If we want to proceed with theories, even a firing squad shooting at a person for 17 months doesn't guarantee 100% certainty of killing them, but in reality, the facts tell us that a 12-gauge shotgun blast to the soft palate is a certain fatal condition.

I understand the confusion, and I have to say that I was also astonished when my friends at the armory mentioned the Barrett in reference to the Ronnie McNutt video. It seemed really strange to me, and while I'm not completely sure what weapon was used, I'm convinced that it was still a much more common weapon than a Barrett. Moreover, the Barrett is made in a completely different way from the one seen in the video, which makes me think that there wasn't a careful evaluation by people who, despite working in gun sales, should be much more precise and attentive to what they say. This makes me realize that, unfortunately, true professionals are very few in all sectors. It should also be noted that it's not so easy to determine what weapon was used, because what is seen in the video is practically just the tip of the barrel, which makes it difficult to make an accurate assessment.

Anyway, the matter has really intrigued me, and I plan to show the video to other people who, apparently, seem more knowledgeable about firearms. It will be interesting to hear their opinion as well.
There is this guy on tiktok @ FaceMcShooty who survived a 12 gauge shotgun. It was up the mouth but I think he flinched or something and it moved. Has like a lot of facial reconstruction . Crazzzzzyyyyyy.

Wow, he doesn't look as bad as I thought he would, but that's still pretty sad. I'm self-conscious enough as it is with my average face, can't imagine going in public like that but you can get used to anything I guess. Fuck. Wonder if deep down he's kicking himself really hard.

OH MY GOD...I feel so so so sad after watching this. It's looks like they died instantly without any pain. But they way their face blown away is just shows how fricken fragile our human body is. And it's looks natural. Can I ask why they both died like whats the reason behind it? Hope they are in better place...RIP. Thanks for sharing this video.
