An update on the OFCOM situation: As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. OFCOM, the UK’s communications regulator, has singled out our community, demanding compliance with their Online Safety Act despite our minimal UK presence. This is a blatant overreach, and they have been sending letters pressuring us to comply with their censorship agenda.
Our platform is already blocked by many UK ISPs, yet they continue their attempts to stifle free speech. Standing up to this kind of regulatory overreach requires lots of resources to maintain our infrastructure and fight back against these unjust demands. If you value our community and want to support us during this time, we would greatly appreciate any and all donations.
So I am quite tall at 180cm, and I often wish I was like 150cm, both for the cuteness factor and wearing cute clothes, but also being able to be in small spaces comfortably and not having to eat as much, as maintaining my active body when you're this tall costs a lot, whereas someone much smaller might shave off 1/3rd or more of the monthly cost of food.

Sometimes I wish I was a bit shorter, though not by a lot. Maybe around 5'5 (165cm) or so. For context, I'm 5'7 (170cm). While I'm not a huge fan of my height it hasn't really had any negative impact on my life and does come with a few perks. I guess in a way I'm kind of in the sweet spot height-wise, lol.
Also, being short doesn't automatically make you cute. I've been called cute before on several occasions despite being tall. It's your demeanour and facial structure that factor the most into cuteness, at least from my experience.
Also, some shorter people do still need to eat a lot. When it comes to calorie intake, height isn't the only factor. Other factors will also play a role.

i am 5'2 157cm but iam conflicted about it because on one hand i like being seen as cute and feminine but on the other hand the height and my childlike features make me appear younger and some people think that this means they can disrespect me or be rude to me lmao and sometimes i cant reach for stuff on shelves xD i think people should stop judging other peoples height lol
and tall women are everything

Yeah, just when people know me personality-wise they see me as this cute small kid and stuff and find me adorable this way, which fits me.
But I've had people suddenly change their tune many times before when they learnt about my height, suddenly seeing me in a more sexy or "step on me mommy" kinda way and stuff, which just makes me wanna puke most of the time.
I am kawaii and wear cute things almost all the time and people do see us as way younger than we are because of it and there's the creeps etc but it definitely feels we have a huge debuff because of our height.
Compare this to our friend who is ~25cm smaller than us and she gets like candy and such like an actual kid, and she's not really trying as much to be cute, she just has a cute personality like me but people do legit treat her as a kid because she's so small.
Feels unfair at times and ppl don't understand unless you're in a similar situation.

I mean, I'd imagine that there would be a lot of downsides to being treated like a child. I personally still get treated like a child despite my height and I get called cute without even trying. I don't even have much of a cute personality (as is evident by most of my posts on here), but I have a naturally quiet and shy demeanour and a babygace so people tend to treat me more like a kid. On one hand I like it, but it also means that I don't get treated seriously and sometimes it feels a bit humiliating.
Also, I'm sorry that you get creepy "mommy" comments. Some people need to learn to just shut up.
I'd really love to be taller. I'm 5'4" (162 cm) and really want to be more like 5'9" (175 cm). I want to look regal, stately, elegant, powerful, even imposing. I don't want to look cute. I want to be taken seriously even by strangers, but people think I'm a teenager even though I'm almost 24.
I had a hotel receptionist ask last month if I'm being accompanied by an adult, since she thought I was a minor. She was very surprised to see my ID, but she was super sweet about it. Told me I had flawless skin, so I'm not complaining But I do feel that when I was in university or at work, I wasn't taken as seriously as the tall imposing people who naturally look older.
Besides looking older, I'd be less claustrophobic in crowds if I were taller. I hate not being able to see over people's heads when I'm walking through a crowded area.
And being able to eat more and maintain a healthy weight. That would be the dream.

Yeah it's all about what you need/want in life.
I don't want to be treated as an adult, it only harms me when that happens, so to me the downsides would be few if any.
But yes I know for others it's the total opposite and they hate being so short and see 0 things positive about it. Knew a girl like that IRL in the past.
I am 185cm/6,1 tall and I do wish I was shorter. I want to be seen as vulnerable, cute and helpless as I want to be looked aftered as to feel valued and to be guided in what to do as I can't handle life on my own. My personality can be quite childish sometimes and I do want to be treated as a child such in some ways. The issue is probably slightly worse for me as I am a trans girl. Tho despite being tall the height of my legs and upper body is quite different as my legs are long when my body is short which allows me to be smaller than others if we are both sitting.

When I was younger, I was 5"8 and I loved it.
Yeah some of my shorter acquaintances were treated more child like but I was lucky enough to purchase cigarettes and even alcohol before legal age (uhum). Slight rebel nature.
In my 20s, I enjoyed my height and my looks more.
I'm older now and perhaps my mindset but I don't care that I look like crap these days- having said that, people do say I look mid 20s (perhaps they are being nice).
I don't think my post adds any value to your thread but I'll share anyway.
Best wishes.

That's normal. A lot of people either have a long torso and short legs or they have long legs and a short torso. Only some people have a balanced body.

interesting, its just I find myself to be shorter than or equal in height to a lot of people when me and them are sitting down. This includes my oldest sister who is shorter than me when we stand up but when sitting down I am quite a bit shorter than her.

Yeah, people generally tend to vary in their torso-to-leg ratios. I think that mine is closer to equal but I'm not sure. I do wish that my legs were a bit longer...
