Are antipsychotics considered Antiemetics?

I don't have access to metoclopramide for SN method. I saw on the new SN thread some antipsychotics mentioned. I'm confused how they prevent vomiting. Can somebody explain that. Tbh this method seems very confusing

The antipsychotic olanzapine is used to treat cancer related nausea. I also read in an old post in here that someone used antipsychotic chlorpromazine as antiemetic and succeded.

I take Seroquel which is antipsychotic I wonder if that would work

I´m in your same position. Can´t mix meto with AP because both are dopamine blockers and neuroleptic malignant syndrome could develop. So we´re left with the AP we are taking. I take olanzapine and has helped with nausea like in a bad hungover. I don´t know anything regarding SN or N nausea. But I realized I´m gonna have to take my N while on AP and hope it works. Seroquel is similar to olanzapine then might work.

Pharmaceutical companies say that seroquel may have an antiemetic effect. I guess it depends on the individual. I'm on it too. I'm planning to come off it as I want to use Meto. Though I wouldn't recommend anyone coming off their seroquel. It's just my personal choice.
