• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

So long as the baby's not past a certain point of development, I don't care. I'm not particularly well educated on the subject beyond the basics, so I can't take a stance on when exactly that point should be, but abortions should be legal before that point. I wouldn't want my female family members or friends to be forced into pregnancy and childbirth with all the risks and dangers that come with it.

That said, while I do still have sympathy for mothers carrying children who're past whatever that developmental point is, barring exceptions for rape, incest, and threat to life/wellness it becomes infanticide and the bodily autonomy of a mother who can safely deliver should be temporarily ignored.

As an analogy- Person A is hanging over a chasm holding onto a rope tied around Person B's leg. Unless 1. Person A is going to die or lose their leg unless the rope is cut or 2. Person B is going to lose their grip and fall anyway, I don't think it's morally sound for Person A's rope to be cut because it's inconvenient or temporarily painful, despite it violating bodily autonomy.

Only in certain moral situations. Women (and men) are the only mammals on this plant with access to many contraceptives and yet this is still not enough for some people. Just have a sense of resbonsibility and you are fine

Thb the debate about abortion really isn't about abortion in itself imo. It's moreso about when human life actually starts. Because of that, both sides see each other as evil. If you believe that life starts at birth, than sacrificing the mother's desires, future, health, etc is obviously evil. If you believe that it starts in the womb, of course you're going to view abortion as murder. It's annoying to hear both sides call each other disgusting evil murderers when they're kind of both arguing for the preservation of human life in different ways.

Me personally, I'm pro-abortion all the way. I don't view fetuses alive at all, and I believe what the mother wants takes precedence over all. Forcing people to have children will only create a worse off society, where a lot of kids will be forced into the horrid foster system and unstable homes and where the people in charge don't give a shit about them despite it being the consequences of their own lawmaking.

I think it's used a bit too liberally as birth control when there are so many other options to prevent pregnancy that are readily available.
In medical emergencies that threaten the mothers life or if the fetus has severe deformities that would impact it's quality of life then I have no issues with the procedure.
As for the term limits on abortion, I think if the fetus has a heartbeat it's alive and that should really be the cut off point for termination.
In the end this is just my opinion on a subject I have very few stakes in. Just adding my thoughts to the conversation whether you agree or not.

I'm pro-choice but I have to say, grown-up adults should think about what they are doing before an "accident" happens and whether it is really necessary to have unprotected sex.

We humans are supposed to be intelligent enough to consider this.
