it's stopping me from getting to sleep, but luckily it's been a year (exactly) that the nightmares have gone away. only problem is that it's been a year so i'm filled with anxiety and panic and depression and flashback's are really bad. my cat's been glued by my side making sure i'm okay and he must know i won't try anything with him here. i'm bipolar and in the past have attempted suicide over 15 times, mostly overdoses, nearly died at least 5 times, been in a couple comas, been intubated a few times that i can remember. i've gotten to a point where unless it's a sure thing and my animals are going to be safe, I might as well stick around for them. I just wish it was easy. the suicidal thoughts are rampant.

I can relate. I have PTSD from having therapy so I can't exactly go to therapists to deal with it. It's a nightmare 24 hours a day but I think I deserve it. Seeking redemption somehow because I don't really want to die, there's too much I like about life including the cat in my avatar
yes! exactly! i wouldn't go as far to call it ptsd, but the since therapist i had learned to trust turned on me and said i was a lost cause. i can't go back to a therapist and any i have seen since then i haven't made it more than 2 sessions.

We're more alike than I thought. I got infatuated with mine then she left and it was like getting dumped.
