  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

I don't see very many people discussing this method. It's honestly the one I've been thinking about most of all. Because I can't do it myself. Just walking into a police station and pulling a gun out on a cop so that they can shoot me would be ideal. But I'd want there to be a next to none chance that I would live and be sent to jail or a facility. I'm in the US.

Bitch way to go out... You are going to put the cops through mental trauma because you are too timid to go through with it yourself. Isn't suicide about taking control of your own exit despite not having much control over the rest of your life?

No police officer joins to kill anyone. That is something they have to live for life. They join to help not take

I don't think it would be that easy to walk into a police situation with a loaded gun. Even if you were able to, they would probably shoot one of your legs. It's just too risky.

Honestly, I've thought about this, too. I think it's called s by police, and it's a thing. The problem is that it does create all kinds of problems. No guarantee to work, probably more likely to be imprisoned. And even if it did work, it's just really tough for the cops involved. Other reasons, too, but not a good idea. Again, I've thought about it and am not judging. Just would advise against if for these reasons.

Police are bitches. I don't care about their trauma.

For reference, it's not like I don't know these people. I live in a small town. They are all assholes. I wouldn't be effecting an innocent person's life by doing this.

If you're pointing a gun at them you're giving them no choice but to shoot you aren't they?

I was married to a cop. They are people behind that uniform. They do NOT like drawing their gun for any reason, contrary to popular belief.

People always say "they're used to it" when it comes to car accidents, suicides, domestic violence etc…they aren't. That couldn't be further from the truth. I can't tell you how many times my ex came home absolutely destroyed after having to pull a dead body out of a wreck, or even something as simple as having to dispatch a deer that was hit by a car and suffering. Yes, it's all part of the job, but there's a reason why suicide is so high in that profession. They have a duty to run towards whatever everyone else is running away from. They carry that burden on their shoulders for the rest of their lives. It affects them, and hard. His first car wreck with fatalities, he didn't sleep for almost a week because it was all he saw when he closed his eyes.

I'm telling you all of this because it's important that you know that if you choose this method, it might put you out of your pain, but you're causing intense pain and trauma to a real person for the rest of their lives. Are you okay with that?
