• Hey Guest,

An update on the OFCOM situation: As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. OFCOM, the UK’s communications regulator, has singled out our community, demanding compliance with their Online Safety Act despite our minimal UK presence. This is a blatant overreach, and they have been sending letters pressuring us to comply with their censorship agenda.

Our platform is already blocked by many UK ISPs, yet they continue their attempts to stifle free speech. Standing up to this kind of regulatory overreach requires lots of resources to maintain our infrastructure and fight back against these unjust demands. If you value our community and want to support us during this time, we would greatly appreciate any and all donations.

If you are experiencing weird things while under the influence of drugs then isn't that a sign that what you are experiencing is likely due to those drugs? What kind of drugs were you even taking?

In regards to the "shadow in the corner of my eye" thing, how did you conclude that this was Satan? How did you conclude that there are no other explanations for this, such as it being a result of some sort of blindspot/flaw in sensory processing or something?

I understand that this may not be the type of post that want under this thread, but I can't help but reply to it. There seems to be this general issue where people are quick to point to the paranormal when trying to explain certain experiences that they have had rather than trying to break down those experiences in a more logical manner in order to understand the likely causes behind them. To add onto this, even if you cannot currently come up with a logical explanation for those experiences, then I don't get how the natural conclusion to come to is that they are the result of the paranormal. Wouldn't you still need solid evidence to support that conclusion? Wouldn't it be more likely that there is a more logical explanation behind those experiences that you just don't have the knowledge needed to explain yet?

Interesting post. I've always been fascinated and drawn to all things occult. As a result, I've studied and practiced various different "branches" of it throughout the years. Hermeticism, Kabbalah, Goetia, Thelema, Satanism, etc etc. I'm also very into Monroe institute tapes.

I do believe there's more than we can see and more than we can understand at this time. Much of what's considered supernatural is probably just science we don't yet understand and attribute to "energy". Like in ancient times when they attributed weather to the gods because they had no way of comprehending the science of it yet.

I've many experiences. Some of them while wide awake (never taken drugs), and most while under sleep paralysis (which I get very often). I'm naturally skeptical, so I'm always open to the possibility that's all in my head. But in a few of this experiences, there were physical manifestations I could not have imagined and can't explain (like objects breaking, flying across the room, etc).

But I do advise everyone who thinks they're having a "paranormal" experience to consider a medical reason for it. It could be a symptom of a mental health crisis.

Shadow in the corner of my eye:

It was when I was a kid and just felt a very dense (spiritually) presence in the corner of the room and this happened after I asked satan to appear. By saying "ask" I mean with my soul, sort of like wishing, putting my energy/intention into summoning. After that I just felt a presence, I got scared and just covered myself up but still felt it there, just observing me.

Drugs:
I've taken tons of drugs at super high doses, it's like one of my gifts, I can take super large doses while maintaining a certain level headedness. I've never flipped out while on drugs. I have taken weed, LSD, DMT, Modafinil (prolongs other drugs), speed, meth, cocaine. A lot of the times I took multiple drugs at the same time with a lot of alcohol. The voices I heard became more apparent with meth, I usually hear voices/negative dialogue even without drugs, but with meth they were very different. More vocal, more extreme, less like me. Like I said in my original post, the drugs OFCOURSE negatively contributed, if not out right caused it. I no longer do drugs.

Also, even though my experiences might not have been paranormal, I believe that somethings cannot be explained by being "logical". These things tend to be outside "logic".

Thank you for your reply! It means a lot coming from someone who has practice in the occult. I also have a lot of interest in this topic, but have not practiced any of it. I mainly have collected resources (books, documentaries, other files) that I have found online to try to understand it. I know it's kind of pointless to try to understand it without going in, but I come from a Catholic background and understand that there are things not to be fucked with if you aren't 100% into it...

What are the main differences between Hermeticism, Kabbalah, Goetia, Thelema, Satanism, etc? Are they just different branches of magick? Do you belong to an occult organization? It is to my understanding that things like freemasonry serve as a mainstream introduction to the occult and then people go on to join other organizations/worship different gods-goddesses depending on their interests. I apologize if my questions sounds dumb hahaha

Sure. They're all very different. There are many, many different orders ("groups" I guess) if one wants a more organized, structured practice (look up OTO and Golden Dawn). But I've always been a loner and done my own thing alone. In occultism, there's more of an attitude that there are many ways to climb the same mountain (if that makes sense), so you study all you can and use what works for you. I'm wary of anyone who claims to be an expert and claim that their way is the only way. My personal practice is a mix of different paths I've studied, and what works for me now. It may evolve in the future, and there might be better ways. Who knows, it's just what I do. XD

As far as ceremonial magick, Damien Echols is a great resource. He's Got a bunch of videos on YouTube and a patreon and he's very good at explaining things and teaching basics of ceremonial magick. Nothing "demonic" related.

First off, most paranormal experiences are not "outside of logic". As I've stated before:
Wouldn't it be more likely that there is a more logical explanation behind those experiences that you just don't have the knowledge needed to explain yet?

Secondly, these drugs that you are taking can cause hallucinations and it doesn't help that you are also mixing them with things like alcohol. Psychedelics in particular can worsen symptoms of suicidal ideation in those who are already suicidal, which is why it's cautioned to be careful using them if you are already feeling suicidal. They can also intensify negative emotions, cause thought loops, and induce hallucinations/psychosis. Stimulants can cause hallucinations due to their elevating dopamine levels, especially when taken in larger doses. They can also cause things, such as increases in anxiety and paranoia. Couldn't you easily argue that your experiences are likely due to being side effects of you taking psychoactive drugs? Hell, some of the stuff you said in the first posts sounds pretty similar to what I experienced back when I was a child and was sick with a fever. At the time, I was having auditory hallucinations due to my being sick.

There is a huge difference between feeling like you are being level-headed versus actually being level-headed. It's also not uncommon for people to believe that the thoughts they had while high were smart or rational, especially if they do not bother to reflect on those thoughts with more scrutiny afterwards, while sober. When I first started using shrooms, I thought that the conclusions I came to made perfect sense, but I quickly grew to understand that this was not the case. This especially became apparent as I started to think more critically about those past conclusions I came to. In a lot of cases, you aren't anywhere near as rational and level-headed as you think you are when you are high, even if you are not outwardly flipping out.

Thirdly, how do you know that what you were observing back then was a "spirit"? Couldn't it have just been a hallucination or even just the result of some sort of flaw in your perception, with your belief of it appearing when you call on it being the result of something like adventitious reinforcement? Similar to how I used to believe that I could control the wind when I was younger even though I couldn't and the pattern that I was noticing between my commands and the direction of the wind didn't actually exist and was the result of my brain trying to make connections that weren't there. Even if I "felt it" I now know that this was never the case. You can give a person a placebo they may find that it improves their condition but that doesn't change the fact that what they were given was just a placebo. It doesn't change the fact that, on a physiological level, their condition has not been addressed and treated at all. You can't use just feeling something alone as proof of anything.

When you speak of what "works for you" do you just mean taking these different paths and connecting them to find a magical point of view that works to make sense of the world or does that also involve learning about different entities (angels, demonds, or whatever) and venerating/ contacting them?

Also, is doing your own thing in the occult vs ceremonial magick comparable to say praying the rosary/ other individual prayers vs having Sunday mass? So someone studying ceremonial magick would be more like a priest figure?

Looking up Damien Echols right now, again this is all super interesting as I do believe having a magical point of view is essential to understanding this world. I do not know to which degree, but seeing the presence of magick in everyday life is fascinating. Example: I once read magic is about implanting your will onto others without them knowing (Crowley, I believe). That would make things like advertising magic, messages in music, news, etc. It honestly blows my mind. Also, looks like the more you know how things work they seem to lose their magical powers... 🤔

One last thing, what is your opinion on having a religious background/upbringing and studying the occult?

This discussion stems from another post where a user mentions that he has had interactions with satan/demons. I do believe that these entities exist and I am very interested in the topic. I myself have had a few experiences. The first was when I was in middle school. I remember sensing a shadowy figure in the corner of my room after challenging satan to show himself. We didn't interact, but it often comes back to my mind. The others have been as an adult and while under the influence of drugs. Obviously the drugs have an effect, but the notable thing from this is an inner voice (myself) telling me to hang myself and usually being really mean spirited towards myself (you're a failure, you deserve to die, etc.).

IF YOU DO NOT BELIEVE THESE THINGS, THAT'S COOL, THIS DISCUSSION MIGHT NOT BE FOR YOU

The questions is: Have you had experiences with demons/satan/paranormal, and if so, what form did it take? What did they tell you? Did they want you to do something? Did they tell you their name? Did they share knowledge with you? Anything relevant to the experience.
There are stories of items having evil bonded with them. These are from a long time ago.
A family member was given a table after they moved into an apartment after getting married. They began to feel ill and very tired, they found out the person who gifted them the table was a spiritualist and had used it for seances, Ouija, Tarot readings and the like. After they threw it out they didn't feel ill or tired anymore.
It was from a friend of my mothers who, when she was visiting her house, her young son was staring up in the top corner of the room while they were talking. He suddenly said towards the corner, "they don't want you here".
A friend had a grandfather clock given to them and they had strange noises like running water which they couldn't find the source, and a shadowy figure walking past the windows, on the upper floor! I was told that they took it outside and set fire to it, while it was burning they said it struck 13 times.
My mother was at a family gathering many years ago when someone set up a Ouija like board using letter cards on a table.
They had an upturned glass they all put one finger on. It moved to spell out answers to questions. One person thought he would ask what the winner of The Grand National race would be that he wanted to bet on. He couldn't have been specific enough as it answered "A Horse". He called it stupid and the glass flew off the table at him.
There was a lot of interest in the occult back then in movies like The Entity and even Fame had a story line with it in about a girl who was a spirit centre.

Related to the JP girl who was the second to text me ever (in May 2023), I reached out to magick because I was powerless to aid her otherwise. July 25 2023, in a hypnopompic state, I reached out to Lady Astaroth whining for help, and exactly at that time as I discovered 30 min later, the girl in question followed a Twitch streamer LuciferDuhSinner (not changed the name, and the website for tracking user follows went defunct in Sept).

Also, exactly on Feb 27 2024 when I did a blood ritual for the girl, another girl DMed me, and texted me for a year, giving me some vain hope I'd get a gf (my ritual was not for a gf though, it was an offering to summon help for the JP girl).

Jan 2025, the JP girl seems not to have died, weirdly enough, although not sure how much of her story was truthful. My fav hypothesis - my bitching and whining was so annoying, the JP girl's existence was completely erased, as she had wished ^^

I still need to read Castaneda though... But I'm so lazy to read anything : ( Also, Russian cultists Goy Gaya have said that using water and a mirror always work, I wonder what ritual that would be. I also found a forum becoming the living god (cringe).
