I finished it maybe a month ago, it's pretty nihilistic, it also has a lot philosophical themes and deep meanings, loved every second of it.
I'd dare to say that there's only one type of people who'd like this show.
I can't believe such a show exists but I'm glad it does.
Found them!
Can't believe it has been almost five years since I made these in the middle of my hikikomori period.
ITS PICKLE RICKKKI never could get into anime. I'm more of a Rick & Morty type of fella.
I grew up before anime became mainstream in the west, so I only started watching it in recent years. Not much, but some. I particularly liked:
- Welcome to the NHK
- Watamote
- Serial Experiments Lain
- Yama no Susume
I even made AMVs for the first two that I have saved on CDs somewhere.

Same here. I was born in 1982 and during my childhood, anime didn't even exist here in my state. It was all American cartoons, which were almost all great in my opinion. My favorite show back then was Fraggle Rock. Hell I even have Gobo Fraggle tattooed on my leg.
