I misspelled the word "cauliflower" in a visual novel once and now it's my go-to alias for when I want to make an account somewhere and not have it connected to my main accounts.

I used to own a boat but had to sell it when I moved in with my partner.

I miss sailing it, it was a Westerly Merlin.

Returning to this site after a 6-month absence. I did honestly try my best to live life in those six months, but it's just not realistic for me, I guess. So here I am again. I'm terrible at engaging in communities, online or not, but I want to make an effort to be part of this forum because it's probably the only place left where I can find people who share my experiences rather than deny them.

Kurwenal is a character in Wagner's 'Tristan und Isolde'. He's basically ineffectual and useless. Seemed kind of fitting. He's meant to be written as a heroic sacrifice, someone who stays loyal to his lord to the end and beyond. But whenever I listen to or watch the opera, I'm always struck by how pointless he is as a character. Again, seems fitting as far as I'm concerned.

My byline is also from Wagner. 'Enden sah ich die Welt' (English: 'I saw the world end') was a rejected final line for Götterdämmerung, another of Wagner's works. As with all things Wagner, there are many interpretations, some more valid than others. Mine is probably an 'other' in this regard. But as I see it, Brünnhilde has suffered a final trauma in a long history of them, the one that has opened her eyes to reality, the one that made the illusion of a world crumble to nothing. She is now beyond mortality, she has seen past the veil of death and she knows there is no reality. She is not afraid to die, but welcomes it as the logical conclusion. I want to get to that point. As it stands, I keep coming up with reasons not to try to kill myself again. I have no doubt that if I were given a vial of N, no questions asked, I'd still find something to stop me.

Liebestod is German for "love death".

I always liked making shapes from letters, for example my irl signature doesn't mean anything, I just made a weird looking winged shape and thought it was cool so I stuck with it. People told me that's not what you're supposed to do, things should have meanings. Maybe there is a meaning, but it's vibe-based/subconscious/hard to explain in words (heh).

My username is just a jumble of words nut, rat and letter O, which I like how it's centered between them, giving both a cool symbol (maybe of the hole in my soul that can never be filled), and a nice ringing sound to the full word. I pronounce it sometimes as Nut-Oh-rat (as it would be read in English) and other times Noot-O-raht (like if you were to read it in Russian).

The words nut and rat were chosen by total randomness, I just liked how they sounded. THERE IS NO DIRTY WORDPLAY OR ANY NSFW MEANING IN IT! Sadly it comes off that way for some people, again, completely unintended. Why would nut in any way be associated with that in English?? Idk, I have an unlucky track record of making names that people totally misinterpret.

I'll start, Sergeant is a reference to a nickname playfully given to me by my late best friend while playing online games with him. The 45 came from my first username I used on a browser game in 2012, it also ended in 45 and just stuck with me since.

Although I'll change mine to make myself more anonymous once my name change date becomes available in August. So if you see this thread while that's still my name...... you're in luck?

I was rewatching Bob's Burgers and I laughed my ass off when Tina said her costume was "nun of your business". She was wearing a nun attire while holding a briefcase. It was a dumb pun, but I hadn't laughed in a while. I wanted my username to be silly like that. In contrast to the depression that is eating me alive

A few events lead to me running my car into a tree with the goal of suicide, which wasn't the original intent. Was driving to relieve stress after a grievous event and Man Of the Year started playing. Which if you listen to, funny enough, has an intermission prophesying the in moment, among other things. Since then Dance Gavin Dance has been a huge part of my life, and often have they predicted and released songs about things I'm dealing with or have dealt with before I found them within the time frame these songs were released.

Life just be to coinkydinky some times.

I dissociate almost daily and have gotten used to it, even though it's stressful, but that's why I called myself that.

I like isaac clarke and heavily relate to him. I am on schizo spectrum. His hallucinations are different from mine. but I like how in dead space 2 he doesnt realize he's having hallucinations until he snaps out of it because that happens to me all the time. He's persistent on living even though his body is screaming at him to die. I feel the same way.
