  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

Hello,
I was recommended this forum, by members from a different forum.
I'm struggling with suicidal tendencies, what are the best methods to combat this?
(Or best methods of suicide)

If you're still holding onto hope. I've found that doing little things keeps you going while you try to figure out your feelings. I've been practicing with creativity and enjoying the less analytical parts of the world. The standard recommendations of; go for walks, get more sleep, all the boring ideas could help but I've found it's more or less hit or miss.

Based on what I've read here, some others have reccomended going to a therapist (making it clear you don't actively have a plan for ctb) and talking about your feelings and practicing recovery. If that doesn't work out there are many forums here for alternatives or even methods to ctb. Whatever comes for you I hope the best.

Definitely check out the resources on this site. I find keeping busy helps me. Hobbies, being around friends even when I'm down keep me from being alone and bored and talking myself into a worse state.

Just wanting some peace

For me only non-existence could ever bring me peace from the suffering, my wish to cease existing is a response to existence itself, I'd just never wish to suffer in this torturous, futile existence and non-existence is all I personally see as positive, I'd always prefer to not exist. My most ideal method would be one that is painless and guaranteed and leads to me finally being free from this existence I always saw as a mistake, just being conscious in this existence is enough to make me wish for death and I always suffer so much from how I cannot just have a death like falling into an permanent sleep. But anyway I wish you the best.
