There must be a lot more than SN. I have seen a few writings where people say they are doing the partial method just for fun. In my opinion, this is a lot more comfortable than drinking a lethal mixture while knowing what it contains. I don't know the details though, I've never researched the partial method.

Is it too hard, risky or something?

I could never find the right spot on my neck to compress to get the dizzy feeling, I was able to find my pulse easily though.

Partial is my chosen method. I always survive od's, too unreliable. I've got my sweet spot, my rope and practiced to near unconsciousness. It's been so easy and cheap to prepare. Some people say they don't like the pain, pressure on windpipe, struggling to breathe. Doesn't bother me. As long as your compressing the Carotid with enough pressure, it's simple and effective. If you don't, you'll die by suffocation as your windpipe closes which is more uncomfortable but still effective. I think a lot of people panic and abort when they can't breathe. Personally I don't see myself panicking and aborting. It's a done deal for me.

Partial seems risky to me unless you're 'almost complete'... I'd like to go complete in theory. It's a certain death if you can handle the pain for what will probably be seconds.

True, the more complete you are the higher the pressure on the Carotid and the quicker you black out (assuming you've got the right spot) During practice, I've always increased pressure slowly. I just hope to be ready for whatever feeling comes when it's my time. I don't care if it hurts, I'll be dead.

Porblem with partial is finding the sweet spot and not having survival instinct. I almost blacked out once, and actually was gone but then somehow got up without doing it on purpose, very weird feeling. Your body does everything to survive. However I've seen some videos of partial and when some people really go all in with their weight, they can't move their arms anymore.

Dropping your whole bodyweight quickly leads to the arteries getting blocked instead of just the veins. You know you are just blocking your veins when you feel that pressure build up in your head. It still works like that but it takes longer so you can change your mind. You block the ateries with alot of weight tho hypoxia will kick in right away and you will loose all motor skills and suffer hypoxia cramps

I tried to do partial a few times yesterday, but, as you can probably tell, I failed. Partial is meant to easily make you pass out once you find your sweet spot, and it shouldn't cause much (if any) pain if you do it correctly. I don't know specifically how many who did partial succeeded, but I believe that hanging does have a pretty okay fatality rate, or at least compared to some of the other ways to go. You risk getting brain damage/being in a vegetative state, though.

This is my method too, Its IMO the most easiest, cheap and realliable way to do it. I have seen a couple of videos and people literally lost consciense at 15 seconds. Obviously it has to be done correctly and prepare the ritual carefully to make it work, like find the sweet spot for your carotides, adjust the position of the rope correctly under the chin, (with the knot at the back obviously) using a not so thick rope and some soap to adjust the flexibility of the slipknot, and be completely sure that no one will find you for at least 30 minutes and of course you have to be really sure, because if you did all correctly, once you push your body against it and the knot is thighten around there's not coming back.
