An update on the OFCOM situation: As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. OFCOM, the UK’s communications regulator, has singled out our community, demanding compliance with their Online Safety Act despite our minimal UK presence. This is a blatant overreach, and they have been sending letters pressuring us to comply with their censorship agenda.
Our platform is already blocked by many UK ISPs, yet they continue their attempts to stifle free speech. Standing up to this kind of regulatory overreach requires lots of resources to maintain our infrastructure and fight back against these unjust demands. If you value our community and want to support us during this time, we would greatly appreciate any and all donations.
I can't be the only one alarmed when people say stuff like that. You're entitled to think live has no value, but when you word it like that, it sounds like you've ran out of reasons to not become a serial killer.
I don't want to talk about this anymore, but I felt the need to say that. Feel free to rebuttal, but you know how I feel.
They won't be born because the idea will be purged. Think of a Brave New World style dystopian society with Soma and the feelies, combined with 1984 style vocabulary modification to eliminate the possibility of dissent. With eugenics to remove those with genetic predisposition towards depression, the ideal homogeneous society will be formed.

If you can find a way to eliminate people who would think that life is worthless from the beginning, then It's fine. You'll have a society of delusional people who think they're happy, but at least folks like me won't be there.

Correct me if I am wrong but are you implying that everyone who suffers from depression or are suicidal should be automatically euthanized to fit some unknown future societal ideals? What if regardless of how happy a person can be there's a limit to how long a person would want that. So then what happens when these happy people decide they're tired of being happy all the time?

If only happiness is the goal, then yes, depressed people should be euthanized. And the concept of being unhappy will be erased, so people will never be unhappy. (Again, something like 1984.)
Since I haven't seen it mentioned yet I'll give it a go. One of the many reasons why I believe life is pointless regardless is because of death. We are stuck between two eternities of unknown properties where we come from nothingness and will inevitably end up going back to that nothingness. That's if the eternal oblivion theory is true nonetheless. So as soon as you die every memory you cherished, every person you loved, every time you tried to make the world a tiny bit better will be erased. It'll be like you were never alive in the first place so whether I die today or in 80 years from now makes no difference as the destination is the same. I have more to add but I'm gonna go smoke.

That's if you enjoy it just as I don't enjoy anything in this life. So what's your point? Relish in the moment in which you won't remember any of it? 'm sorry but that's laughable.
That's usually atheists counter argument to theists arguing that a life would be meaningless if not eternal. Darkmatter2525 made a video using this. I was just curious to see how you would reply to that.
Why do you think life does have value though? Do you realize that every person that has ever been born had more unpleasant experiences than pleasant ones? I have some memories in my life that I wouldn't give away for anything, but that's just brain chemistry. It's the dopamine, not my life experiences themselves that I value. But I respect your opinion.
I'm quite lost as I am drunk right now. You agree that life is pointless but yet tell me using analogies that eating a cheeseburger (aka life) is worth it because it can be enjoyable? If I were not born I would not have the capacity to enjoy anything just as when I'm dead. And if I don't inherently enjoy anything about living including cheeseburgers which are good but are there only to eliminate the negative of hunger.
I wasn't arguing from that position, I just wanted to see how you would respond to that (that's all).
Usually when people point out that life is meaningless, pro lifers counter argue that the meaning is the dopamine rush
The optimistic nihilists would say to create your own meaning via doing what you enjoy. But therein lies the problem what happens when there's no enjoyment at all? Plus most of the positives in life last for such a brief short period compared to the mundanity and suffering that life is.

They'd tell you it's impossible for a person to not have any passion and your question is just mental masturbation. There are people who want to die regardless of what they feel.
May I ask what makes these people's lives so bearable? I see this all the time and yet no one mentions what makes life worth living then? Having a job, house, gf/bf, friends, food, sex, money, power, etc. etc.? Seriously what makes any of that so bearable? All I see is mere distractions based on biology and society.

How is it mental masturbation to feel no enjoyment at all? Especially since it's one of the many reasons why I want to ctb?Passions are pointless exercises of 'I want, I care' only a mere distraction.
