I have really bad anxiety about going out of the house. My question is, what to do in my house to fill in a day?

Well, if it was me, I would start with a nice book to read. Then I would progress to a nice lunch followed with a comfy afternoon nap.

After waking up, I would put on so deep ambient music and continue with the book.

Whatever you decide, I hope that you have a wonderful day!

Sorry to hear it. Why do you have anxiety about leaving the house? Any chance of getting help with that?

I always feel like people are watching me and judging me. I do get help but it is getting really hard to go to appointments as well.

In my twenties I had severe agoraphobia and panic attacks too. Now I'm in my forties and still this problem that ruined my life (literally). As the other members said, reading a book, watching series, maybe drawing or create some art. I feel you're an artist. In the past, I've created som little sculptures and paintings. What i like in arts is the creativity and you can try to mentally escape. I haven't created since years but it could be a good thing to pass the time. I'm disabled too so I understand what you feel. And maybe see your doctor to talk about the side effects of the medication. Fatigue can increase anxiety but we all know it's a vicious cycle... When I'm too nervous inside and anxious at home, I do sometime meditation called "Trataka". It's very easy with just a candle. It helps to clean the eyes too (when you're on screens too much, which is my case too...)

My favorite at home hobby is origami. All you need is paper and youtube. You can make some pretty fun things and work your way up to more complex designs. Plus you get something fun to look at when you are done.

It helps with anxiety for me because I focus on it. It is just me and the paper and the outside world fades away.

Do you have any things that are linked to comforting memories? I would say nostalgic things but then, I know not everyone has had a good childhood. Mine was pretty mixed but, when I'm super stressed, certain pieces of music, films even foods help. Biscuits remind me of my Grandpa and sugar in tea reminds me of my Nana.

hi, just saw this
not to discourage you but i have always had problems with studying and working
i dropped out of uni 2 times, first was after 6 months the second was after 2 months
worked a lot part-time and switched to full-time for a few months and it was all about having good coworkers because it makes it fun. i work freelance now, when i feel like it, but i am currently staying with parents and will apply for disability first. cant see myself doing work again tbh.
