An update on the OFCOM situation: As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. OFCOM, the UK’s communications regulator, has singled out our community, demanding compliance with their Online Safety Act despite our minimal UK presence. This is a blatant overreach, and they have been sending letters pressuring us to comply with their censorship agenda.
Our platform is already blocked by many UK ISPs, yet they continue their attempts to stifle free speech. Standing up to this kind of regulatory overreach requires lots of resources to maintain our infrastructure and fight back against these unjust demands. If you value our community and want to support us during this time, we would greatly appreciate any and all donations.
Thinking about buying this rope for it https://gyazo.com/42f6bce5575f1c139415aff96457ca5f
Any better idea for what kind of rope i need? Im in canada if you want to find something in amazon by the way.
Yes it is. You can fix a ligature to many things. It's very easy to kill yourself accidentally with hanging.
You may already know this, but for anyone else reading, don't assume that you can just stand up. It doesn't take much pressure on the arteries in your neck for you to become unconscious in seconds. You might feel yourself loosing consciousness and think I'll just stand up and loosen off this noose around my neck but you won't be able to.

So I'm kind of psyched at the moment because I created a contraption of sorts for hanging and when I tested it I noticed my vision going blurry and fainting feeling coming. This is also a partial hanging like Robin Williams did. Check out the contraption below.
The Yellow band above is one of a pair of moving straps you can buy from any hardware store. The black strap is actually a nylon synthetic type of belt with automatic clip belt. Its basically a belt I bought from amazon that allows you to go through a security point without setting off the metal detector because the belt has no metal.
On the other side of the door I have the moving strap affixed to the door knob.
This one is a a view that shows both sides of the contraption.
Here is a close up shot of the belt strap loop. You can see the clip at the top right.
Anyway when I "tested" it, which to be honest I didnt think would do anything, I noticed my head feeling faint and a blurry vision settling in. I think if I would have let it continue, I could have very well passed out.
What I want to know is if I had waited to the point of passing out, would this work as a partial hanging? I have no other options at the moment. I'm too scared from SI for SN and have access to no antiemetics so please can someone shine some light into my predicament? Basically if I lose conciousness does that mean that the partial hanging is going to work?

Thanks for sharing this.
The only problem I can see is if it somehow slips off the doorknob on the other side.
I would make sure it is securely fastened and no possibility of it slipping off.
Another thing with partial is SI once unconscious? I've read of people managing to release the pressure even when unconscious, though this might depend on the exact setup.

I started shaking the yellow strap by tugging and shaking on opposite side of door knob very hard to see if it would budge and it didnt.
I don't know about the SI once unconscious seems almost impossible unless it was convulsions that caused something to break?
Another update: I tested it again and oh my god I went into 1 second of what I can only describe as sleep or a funnel where all I could hear is my strong heavy breathing and quickly pushed out since my parents are home. I started breathing very frantically afterwards but no pain. Like it felt like I was in a dream state and then full blown panic attack breathing. What is that? There is only one other time this happened and it was once when I was young and was put in a choke hold and I passed out but let out a groan before I dipped into sleep. I was awoken with my cousins looking at me as if they have done that so many times in their life to people.

Sound like you were very near to passing out. Where exactly do you position it around the neck?
I can't seem to get past the choking/head exploding feeling...

here's the thing, I had no choking feeling while I was losing consciousness on my first 2 attempts. However after I put a zip tie around the belts top area to have less chance of head coming out of it the choking feeling was overpowering any signs of passing out. Thus I removed that zip tie. I'm going to test it out again soon. I'm wondering if there is such a thing as building tolerance to partial hanging?
I don't see how. I mean, the mechanism of compressing carotids to cause unconsciousness isn't like getting used to ingesting a substance like alcohol, where the body adapts to its presence and you have to drink more to get the same effect. Unless continually pressing on the neck somehow 'toughens' the neck, making it more difficult to compress the carotids over time? But I don't think there is any evidence for that.
Convulsions can vary in severity, I wouldn't count 100% on anyone hearing. But even if your mother did hear you, she'd have to walk in on her son hanging from the door and could she even manage to open the door? Would she be able to get you out of the situation? If she did manage to get you down in time to save your life, would you be living in a vegetative State for the rest of your life? It's several minutes in partial suspension and you can loose significant cognitive ability, forget about inventing hanging contraptions, you won't be able to tie your own shoe laces.

well I tried again and got the same light headed heavy breathing feeling and quickly got out of it since it was a test. Only thing I can say is that the feeling of only hearing my breathing was less pronounced but it was still there. I don't want to run the risk of hardening the neck (supposed tolerance, no proof to back it up) so I won't test it out again today. I feel like I'm ready. My only worry is my neck coming out the belt.
and to answer your question about finding the sweet spot for passing out : I try to mimic a kneeling down position like a Muslim prayer but obviously I don't have the slack to do it, I just aim my head down with my hands to my sides touching the floor barely.

Can you link to this info. I still don't understand how one can abort partial hanging when you've lost consciousness.
I can't remember exactly where I read about it. In different threads on this website. Basically some people saying that they passed out, but then woke up either because the rope had become detached, or that they had somehow managed to stand up even when unconscious, like a sort of survival reflex. I don't know how reliable those accounts are. I would think that once unconscious, your body wouldn't be able to save itself, but there can always be exceptions since SI is such a strong force.
Does it make a difference if your ligature is wider? Because if it's wider, wouldn't it be better at cutting off your carotids due to the surface area? Or would it just be the same if you used a skinny rope
Guys I'm terrified at the thought of being a vegetable when I go through with this. Especially since the body will have to go through that stage. The SI is kicking my butt. Anyone have words of reassurance?
Tried a couple of time already, i must suck at this because whenever im passing out it seems my reflexes kick in and save me. My body just moves all over the place untill air gets back in and i come back. I make alot of sound too with this thank god im alone...

Alcohol is the way to go; don't smoke cannabis; it opens your mind and makes you think, think, think. Alcohol is a mind numer. Believe me, it may make you reconsider. Full suspension does it- forget partial, SI kicks in, and you might as well abandon the project.

i having an issue... i've read the hanging wiki, some pdfs about hanging, so i know exactly what to do, i tighted the noose of the necktie, put on the base of the neck below the adam's apple, lean my body forward and my head downwards, but i don't pass out, in fact i just feel the blood rushing to my head, this is because i just compressing the jugulars even if i put in the right spot of the carotid... so why does that happen ? and how can i solve it ? is the weight not enough ?
I think a lot of people, including me have the same issue. I think the general consensus is that everyone's different, some people's carotids may be deeper than others. So it's all about experimentation and seeing what works for you. If all else fails, full suspension.
