I read that the LD50 for hydrocodone is only 90mg. If that's true, then I'd only need 18 pills of 5-325 hydro/acetaminophen to hit the ld50 for hydrocodone. I was wondering if this would be a painful way to go considering it's a painkiller? Anyway to make it more reliable?

I have read of people swallow a lot more hydrocodone than that and they are still with us. Does not seem like a reliable method to me.

This would be extremely painful due to the acetaminophen. You can extract that from your pills with cold water extraction. However I don't think you're likely to succeed.
Also bare in mind the LD50 means it will kill 50% of the people who take that dosage
