Long story short I made some food and I gave my father some. After he finished eating he accused me of being cheap with the food when in all actuality I gave him a larger portion than me. I didn't even make a lot of food in the first place. I got upset at the accusation and left the dining room area. My mom came into my room and claimed he was only joking. The "joke" just wasn't funny to me at all and a bit hurtful in my honest opinion because I would never do that. My parents ideas of "jokes" that involve me are almost never funny to me. Now I guess my dad is all sad and in his feelings. My mom is making me feel bad for being upset and saying I should apologize for being upset at my father. Yet he doesn't have to apologize at all.
I know this is really trivial but I just need an outside opinion.
Am I wrong for being upset and apologize to my dad? Or no?
