I reallyyyyyyy like mint choc ice cream

I really like mint chocolate chip ice cream yes yes yes yes. In those tubs when you get strawberry, vanilla and chocolate i normally eat strawberry first then vanilla then chocolate although i dont really like the chocolate flavour that much.
IT DOES NOT TASTE LIKE TOOTHPASTE

Yum. It's been ages since I had mint choc chip ice cream. It's been a while since I've had ice cream- I don't have a freezer now. I think I maybe ordered some as part of a take away meal. Remember being disappointed. It was a place that did all sorts of milkshakes- chocolate bar themed. But yeah, wasn't too impressed. I never know which flavour to pick really. I like so many. I lean more towards toffee/ chocolate/ rum and raisin. I love the idea of tutti frutti but again, I remember being disappointed.

mint chocolate is absolutely delicious
people that say it tastes like toothpaste have either:
A. never tried mint chocolate ice cream
B. never brushed teeth
C. all of the above

i view it the same way as when people say "matcha tastes like grass" haha

otherwise i really love double fudge from ben and jerries.. it tastes amazing. most of the time when i have chocolate ice cream the cold makes it hard to taste the chocolate, but not in this case!!

You should definitely try it when you can, it's life changing! But i think i understand what you mean about the artificial tasing strawberry, most of the ice cream I get here tastes like that and its actually not too bad ahaha. Strawberry is my #2

I go with Ben & Jerry's Milk and Cookie dairy free ice cream since I have some issues with lactose. It's very tasty and doesn't mess up my gut. I last had it a few weeks ago, so it's time for more I think.

I'm going to be the brave (or rather, foolish) social pariah/sacrifice here and say that the mix of mint and chocolate in any format is an abomination. There, I said it. Feel free to send the most hateful of vibes. I will stand true by my convictions and be a martyr for the cause.

I haven't had ice cream, at least, 'true' ice cream, in years, nearly 5 years now. Went vegan and never looked back. Many sorbets are vegan, though, and I love a very sour, very tart lemon sorbet. Some gelato is vegan too, depending on where you buy it. My sister and I once had gelato on holiday in New Zealand, several years ago now. I say 'once', but I believe we went to the gelateria every day while we were there, sometimes more than once a day. It was a little hole in the wall and almost all their options were vegan. Pure magic. I don't remember any of the flavours I had except a pistachio one that was beautiful. Proof that green frozen dessert can be delicious and not an abomination.

I wish everyone in this thread the opportunity to go out and buy a big tub of mint choc chip ice cream soon. You all deserve that little bit of happiness for yourselves.

I turned vegan about 10 years ago and thought I had to say goodbye to ice cream. I used to love choc-mint and vanilla and then found a recipe to make my own. I'm sharing if anyone wants to try, it's really easy to make and does not taste like toothpaste. For vanilla, just leave out the minty bits.
