Did anyone else do something similar?
The day that I started skipping I was supposed to go back to my original shift(which is nights). We worked at 4AM for an entire week because of night shift manager was on vacation.
However apparently they still needed me to come in at 4AM for one more day but said nothing to me about the change so I kind of said fuck it after I woke up which was 3 hours later and slept in.
There was a lot more about this job that I hated but that was the breaking point. I didn't come in the next day frankly because
I was going to quit anyway and a supervisor spitting in my face is not how I wanted to start off my last few weeks.
However my relatives are convinced my job is perfect and me telling them about what happened or even a " I resigned " story would raise suspicions. They question everything I do like the FBI.
I decided to make a cover story about getting fired which so far is working. I was going to do it anyway if I chose to quit traditionally.
If for some reason they find out before I CTB what would be a good excuse to tell them without getting the hint that I'm suicidal?
Making them think that I'm just a lazy 21 year old low life would work too.
My CTB date is next week but I'm getting overly paranoid that they're tracking down on my ruse.
I know this is selfish and stupid but I wanted to spend my last few weeks at peace.
