Godzilla King of the Monsters (2019) was better.
I actually felt like the fight scenes could have been more impactful if they had gone deeper into the lore of the Godzilla species versus Kong's species. Now THAT'S the movie I really wanna see.

They wasted a lot of screen time showing character arcs of human characters. Humans in the movie added zero value to the storyline with exception to the little girl and her bond with Kong. They should have spent more time developing Godzilla's character. This one felt more like a Kong movie with Kong being the protagonist.
