I feel like I might not run into someone as great as her ever again.

It was a misunderstanding and mixed signals but now that she politely turned me down,
I kinda crave the relationship more lol.
It was a beautiful fantasy of a lifetime.
I like her, she's great.

There will be some perceived obstacles if we get together ngl.
Plus I might not be good for her, she could be unhappy and it wouldn't be fair for her.

I think most of us have been a broken-hearted guy/girl more than once.

I know you love her but you will eventually get over it.

Also, there are many fish in the sea. (I know, you only want THAT FISH, but the statement is still true.)

I think true and mutual love shows up when we least expect it.

However, staying in bed and talking to nobody (like I used to) will probably not help.

There are plenty of fish in the sea, but the ocean is filled with toxic waste and most of the fish don't want to be caught except by only the finest fishermen.

If she has stated its 'not what its about' then that is one thing and to be respected.

If it is about her happiness then that is not for your fear to decide.
From the little you have said she seems to be able to convey what she wants and needs and if there is any confusion perhaps further frank discussion is required. I guess what I mean is that if there is possibility of 'more' dont let your fear hold you back but ensure that you are transparent so that you can both make an informed decision as to how to proceed.

This post resonates with me. I thought I met "the one", as cheesy as it sounds, a while back. We had great chemistry and truly enjoyed each other's company. Unfortunately things did not work out due to crossed signals and intractable life circumstances.

I feel your pain, cause I have it too. Getting past it takes one day at a time. It's hard to think in the immediate aftermath, but I believe you can get past this

So true! Unfortunately, toxic fish are sometimes inevitable. (Got some of those and even was one during my teen years haha)
