As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

Yes time also goes by quickly like that. Any time when each day feels the same, it goes by fast. Washing and eating feel like such chores, I agree. Is that you in your avatar by the way?I don't even work at the moment and it still goes by very quickly. Most of the time I'm broke so I'm just wishing time away until the next whatever payment or until my appeal, trying to spend as little money as possible. I remember when I first moved away from home, everything seemed interesting, even just going to the supermarket. There was so much new information. And then when I lived in different countries. Now every day is really very much the same. I live in a small town too. Every day is the same, the same people, the same needs that have to get met (eating, pooping etc). The only thing that changes is I get physically older and less attractive, and my health gets incrementally worse.
After 18 time is running by really fast for me. I am sure if I don't kill myself, quickly I will notice than I went from 27 to 47 without realizing.I don't even work at the moment and it still goes by very quickly. Like I said, most people here are on their 20s, 30s or older than that. You sound like quite the prejudiced person.Yeah, I'm around your age and the majority of postings look like they come from people in that angsty teenager phase, I cringe when saying this given to how it's typically used, but the simple-mindedness of the postings I've read is striking. Granted, people our age are usually popping out babies so it's likely there won't be many forums where others with a slightly more developed mind/persona hangs out exist unfortunately - or anybody with a postsecondary reading/writing level.

I hope you're not referring to me specifically when you say this. :(Yeah, I'm around your age and the majority of postings look like they come from people in that angsty teenager phase, I cringe when saying this given to how it's typically used, but the simple-mindedness of the postings I've read is striking. I think it's just a sign of times and it seems to be the sad truth that people are the most suicidal in their early 20s or so. It has to do with the fact that your early life really defines you and what you are set to do for most of your life. The suicide rates drop after 20s because after that, the life stays pretty much the same for the next 30 years, there aren't big life changes so you can kinda relax and start living in your own bubble...but only if you bet well and did the "right" things if life. Early 20s really is a time for many to check where they are at life right now and if it's really worth it to carry on.

Are you distinguishing between suicide attempts and successful suicides? This is entirely incorrect. Most suicides are in middle age or older. Check your facts please.

It makes sense. It is easier to have hopes when you are younger. When age comes, reality hits the hardest. When you realize you are not only old but your dreams, desires yada yada are not going to happen... It is not easy to cope.Yes. Successful suicides are invariably mostly older folks not teens or young adults.
