• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

To have no say or control over the world you live in

feeling, like being trapped in a system you never agreed to but are forced to participate in.
Life, society, and even your own existence were decided without your consent, and yet you're expected to navigate the consequences.

we can't build a house by our selves because it requires more than one person

most things in life—especially survival and comfort—require cooperation. A single person can't realistically build a house from scratch, mine the materials,
process them, and assemble everything alone. Even if someone were extremely skilled, it would take an impractical amount of time.

This dependency on others means we're forced to participate in society, even if we don't agree with its rules or structure.
It's like we're born into a system that demands cooperation, but we have no say in how that system operates.
If we refuse to participate, we suffer—either through homelessness, starvation, or isolation.

everything was already decided before we even got here—laws, social norms, economic systems, expectations. We never agreed to any of it, yet we're expected to follow the rules or face consequences. Even if we try to change things, the system is so deeply entrenched that individual effort feels meaningless.

It's like being dropped into a game where all the rules were written long ago, and no one cares whether we like them or not. We can complain, resist, or even try to break free, but at the end of the day, we still have to play—or suffer for refusing.

It makes you wonder: what's the point of a life where we have so little control?
these machine we all inherited from our parents are extremely poor quality

Yes and no really. No- we can't be experts in everything. I suppose the idea is we each specialise in something we gain credit for, to pay for the sevices/ things we're less good at or, don't want to do ourselves. You can't expect someone to work for you for free.

I agree that it sucks to be forced into the situation where we still have to pay for everything though in the first place. Still, perhaps it's a marginally easier/ more comfortable life than if we lived in the wild. Even in small groups, that's a lot of manual labour with likely no machinery, no eletricity, running water, sewage system, healthcare.

Again though, not everyone does pay. The UK government is expected to pay out £303.3 billion in welfare between 2024-25. And £35.1 billion of that will be in housing benefits. So, plenty of people are living in properties they haven't paid for. That's not to say they don't deserve them. Many will be unable to work but it isn't quite the case that we are all enslaved. Some people are given an awful lot for free with no expectation to pay it back. Perhaps it's not enough but then, what is enough? Would another person expect less perhaps?

That's not to say it's impossible to starve or go homeless in the UK. I often wonder about those poor soles. What is it about them that makes them ineligible for benefits? Is it because they are declared capable of working but either, don't want to or, can't find work? I suppose purely selfishly worrying, I wonder if that would happen to me in the future if I either can't find work or, refuse to work.
