Curious if anyone else here experiences an irrational or semi-rational fear.

I feel like recently I've developed an irrational fear of having bad odour. When I'm working or have outside things to do I shower pretty much every second day, which I feel like is an acceptable amount. I wear deodorant and perfume/cologne. I clean my clothes after a few wears. I brush my teeth twice a day most days. I don't think I really have poor hygiene in any way, but still I find myself irrationally worrying that I smell bad.

I will smell the armpits of my uniform at work only to find that they smell like deodorant, and still worry that I smell sweaty or stinky. Some days I get home and hold the butt of my pants, the crotch, the armpits or back of my shirt, up to my nose... They all smell fine to me. But I still worry that there is something I can't smell because I'm too used to it. I worry that I secretly smell bad and people avoid me and stay away because of it. Maybe it exists, it feels like it does. But at the same time I can't smell it and so I don't know how to cover it or what makes it go away :D

When I was in elementary school and we were in the auditorium, which had seats like movie theaters have, for the longest time I was terrified to sit back. I was convinced somehow I was going to fall through the chair… Even though I had an entire full auditorium Sitting around me. Really wish I could remember what made me overcome it.

Suddenly getting a heart attack and it being a very painful and slow death, the opposite of what I want my eventual death to be like

I'm not going to lie. This is a very relatable fear for me. I've seen people infected with rabies. I hate that sort of end. Complete loss of dignity.

Also, one of my distant relatives did die because some stray dog licked his open wound. This was a highly educated and well to do guy who left behind a wife and two kids. And that hydrophobia,so effed up.

It's one of the worst deaths you can have by disease. I remember only becoming aware of how dangerous it was when I was 14. Before I used to take chances petting strays because I thought I could handle the shots. Now, I don't even lock eyes with animals on the street. Especially dogs

Yeah, I know. And I don't really want to take the vaccine because of what any vaccines do to the human body. They actually destroy our microbiome and our immunity. They destroy the good bacteria in our body as well as the bad. they don't tell you all that.

The good bacteria are important for a variety of functions. They're critical to our health and well-being.

And yes, it's better not to get chummy with these stray dogs lol. Those deaths are just insane though. I looked up just one video and YouTube kept recommending me several as usual🤣
