money could be a scale for wealth but that's not always the case. it's the accessibility of life and wellness making us rich after all. i don't think i and my family would really be considered broke by the government of my country but the therapies and excessive daily expenses due to mental deviation are bottomless pits, leaving me little room for any degree of financial and social freedom. in other words i may have sth like 100 dollars out of my pocket right now but that 100 cannot bring me anything what a normie could do with 10, and has to pay up my latenight food or rent in the end.

The therapy costs around sth euqal to 1500 USD (im no longer in the us now) each 1hr session. I still owe my therapist sth like $5000 :( but I'm not entirely giving up on it. gonna try to seek alternative. (which might be sasu)

I assume broke is a synonym for poor and unsuccessfull.

My impression is, that 90% of the people here are very young. You cannot be rich and succesfull when you are young, you just started the race for success. Students at the unversity for example are normally not very rich, but the don´t care, because they know, that they will be rich some day.

Isn't it pretty sad?? Us broke people, were simply born and destined to live a life full of struggle, ever since the start

I understand there may be exceptions. But at least for most broke people, we were born with disadvantage, ever since the beginning

You don't ever need to make a promise like that to anyone, EVER! There's no cheering section here hoping you die, nor some bookie taking bets on whether you will or won't, with other people's livelihoods in the balance. The only person you owe anything to is yourself, and maybe even your own life, in regards to whether you live or die, ought to be more than even making a promise to yourself, it should be more about whether ctb is truly something you need for yourself.

A big failure in life led to financial problems and a lack of money - ultimately I gave up and ended up here.

Well, I won't CTB any time soon(at least not if my situation stays as it is rn). Over the past 2 years things have calmed down - I'm kinda "secure" for now though I won't be able to do most things I'd like to do (like traveling, living life and so on) - kinda adapting to the new normal. I still have some hope that I can recover somehow.

My problem isn't a debt & housing issue it's a liquidity problem. My method of choice was and still is CO with charcoal as an emergency method I'd consider cyanide.

Honestly, I don't wanna die but the circumstances require this logical consequence. That is the worst that can ever happen to someone.

I'm sorry you suffering from financial problems as well. It's so awful but money is the fuel in this society although money isn't a cure for everything it' s so often the cause of mental health problems.

I feel you. Sucks we live in such a money driven society. It really drains our soul. It completely ruin my relationship with my family, due to the on-going stress
