What do you do for work? What interests do you have and can you apply those interests towards another job? What other jobs have you applied for? Also, an update to your CV and CL may be needed to catch employers attention.

Here's something a bit twisted with me. I'm a clinical mental health therapist and I can't escape the desire to CTB. It's a battle and it's hard to pretend to be okay when truly wanting to see clients get better but internally knowing I can't help myself.

I think going back to your feelings and reflecting on what you can do to find a new job in regards to making your CV stand out is what's important. Also, with the holidays coming around, a lot of seasonal jobs will be available.

Good luck.

I'm not from the USA; I'm from India, and I work as an artist. It's not a profession I love—it's just that I don't know anything else, nor do I feel I'm good at anything else. At this point, my only goal is to find a better job, mainly so I won't have to interact with my current colleagues. Working with them feels like torture.

My CV is updated, but companies just aren't hiring, and if they are, the pay is inadequate. I've applied to around 200 jobs so far and only heard back from 10. Most of them sent automated assignment tests, which I didn't complete. I did attempt the first two but, unsurprisingly, never received any response or even basic human interaction.

In one instance, I participated in a live test with 60 other candidates, and the company conducted six similar calls, meaning around 300 people were competing for the same roles. I didn't hear back from them either. Then there's this one HR representative who keeps saying they'll schedule a call but hasn't followed through. It's been three days now, even though they initially said they needed just one more day.

I know I have until the end of December to find something, but I'm growing increasingly impatient. I've already felt disillusioned with life and struggled to find purpose. I don't care much for existence itself, but having a job and feeling capable of something, especially in India, matters a lot

Being jobless is what making me feel depressed. Plus being dumb makes it worse. I'm sure you know how fucked it is in India to be jobless. It's scary and you feel all alone.
