• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

"
A review and update of a controversial 20-year-old theory of consciousness claims that consciousness derives from deeper level, finer scale activities inside brain neurons. The recent discovery of quantum vibrations in "microtubules" inside brain neurons corroborates this theory, according to review authors. "

And the article you sent me literally just supports what I already said to you.

That's not what you said though. You said conciousneas is stored in these microtubulues. You're completely misrepresenting that statement. Anyway, I'm out.

Maybe it's selfish and stupid of me, but I hope there is some type of perfect afterlife for all of us, like...once you pass on, it's an eternal world of peace just for the individual, a world where you can have genuine and faithful love with a single person, genuine bonds, and it would be free from all the gross and disgusting people and things forever. A world where nothing bad and nobody bad exists. Neither heaven or hell, just...paradise.

Ha, I'm rambing madness without a doubt though, still...hoping for that at least gives me some type of comfort in despair. I'm scared beyond anything about being punished for suicide.

Don't worry, that is exactly what the afterlife is like according to NDEs. It is very peaceful. There is no heaven and hell. But a lot of suicide NDErs choose to come back to life because they don't want to leave their families or have some kind of work to do. There is something called the life review where one can look at their life and see how it affected others.
To anyone interested, imo Nanci Danison's book is the holy grail on the subject and the most profound NDE I have ever read

what...No. Im saying it does make sense for something to have already been here.
Okay, I see what you mean. It doesn't make sense either way. Because something can't be created from nothing. So even if God had to exist to create all of this...something else would have had to have created God, and something else would have had to create that...and it's never ending. Neither makes sense. So either way, something would have had to already have been here, which in itself doesn't make sense, yet is the only thing that does make sense. It's a paradox. Goes along with the concept that everything is one. Everything in existence, including you and I, and the universe at large, IS God. And each of us is simply the universe experiencing itself.

It says consciousness is derived from activities inside of brain neurons. The microtubules are inside of those brain neurons, and the quantum vibrations are redirected through entanglement.

To me, the question of who created God isn't applicable because imo God has always existed and never had to be created. He has always existed and will always exist because in the afterlife, time and space also do not exist like they do here so many things are possible.

anyway this is one subject that the buddha refused to answer because it isnt possible to know for sure what the truth about it is. Its pointless.

In space-time, past present and future all exist simultaneously. And since everything is energy, as energetic beings, we should have access to any point in time.

maybe, maybe not. Nde people often say there is no time in the afterlife but then describe their experience sequentially so idk.

Einstein and Hawking both concluded this.

I'm pretty sure at least Hawkings was an atheist and therefore didn't believe in an afterlife. He stated that several times before his death.

Interesting. Leaves many questions though.
