  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

Since I had some bad experiences with LSD, I don't think about death the same way. I never felt that way before, but as a result of intense panic attacks LSD induced me, I'm now more prone to anxiety in general, I've also had of panic/depersonalization attacks while completely sober (only since my LSD use, never had then before). Although it's been a while (1 year) since I last used drugs, this never seems to go away completely, and am afraid this may ruin my ctb attempt, since my method is SN, and I don't really have any other options. I'm afraid the process will be similar to what I experienced with psychedelics, or that it will induce a panic attack more easily which may ruin all. I remember a long time ago i din't care about death and now with this experience everything is very different, it really piss me off, wish I had known about this posible harms from LSD before using it. In the end it might not be that bad, but there is no way to really know.

This is interesting, sorry for what you are going through. I acquired a new strange fear of/uneasiness for death around the time I did LSD, 600 μg. I don't remember if this fear came to me before or after my experience, but if it was after, maybe LSD was the reason this fear appeared in me. I used to not care about my consciousness ending but now I am, a little bit. But living is not an option for me so I'll have to push through.

The best advice I can give to you is watching videos/reading stories about people who either had a near death experience or was brought back to life. Once you get a general consensus of how we perceive the process of dying then you can compare it to your experiences on LSD. If they are different, your anxieties will most likely lessen. If they are the similar, then you can either prepare yourself or reevaluate your decision to ctb.

I'm sorry you had this experience, I myself had a experience with acid that wasn't pleasant but it helped me with death anxiety
