Hey everyone, I'm Gothbird. I'm almost 30, based in New Zealand, and lately I've been posting more than lurking so I thought I'd finally drop something here in the friend thread while I'm still around.

I've got degrees in creative writing and art, though most of my time these days is spent online. I love reading, especially anything scifi, gothic, or strange fantasy. I code a little, game a lot, and there's almost always music playing in the background—helps drown out the world a bit.

I live with agoraphobia, fibromyalgia, BPD, MDD, and I'm very autistic. I have a habit of writing long replies—not because I'm trying to lecture, but because I like to be thorough and think things through properly. So, I'd like to think I'm a good listener.

I'm planning to leave sometime in the next few months, so I'm just trying to spend the time I have left doing things that feel real.
If you want someone to talk to, whether it's to vent or just exist next to for a bit, I'd be glad to meet you.

Hey I'm an artist and a musician, currently working on a webcomic. I've been on Sanctioned since 2023. And I'm honestly pretty odd I guess,
I have a girlfriend and we also date other women together. I have been polyamorous my full adult life, and I mention this respectfully BECAUSE I'm very good at helping people with self esteem issues such as self proclaimed incels.
I believe anyone is capable of finding love and friendship, but admittedly I struggle with making friends because I am hyper focused due to my autism. I also have BPD which I hear is pretty rare in males. I also have C-PTSD.

I'm just looking for someone to help build up.
I have a caregiving personality and I want to see everyone succeed in life regardless if they choose to CTB or not. I think everyone should achieve as close to their ideal self as possible before making any final choice but I respect anyone's individual view on the subject.

I'm honestly waiting for court regarding my children before I decide what to do with my life. They moved it back a couple of times and this time they moved it forward so I should be making plans either way in about a week.

(An aside: I wonder if it's too unbearably sad to develop even a fleeting friendship with anyone when you know it's for such a finite time? And yet here I also am in my life, not warning anyone I know that I may decide to leave. Makes me feel a little guilty to them. It's a complicated emotion.)

Either way, I wanted to say that you seem absolutely lovely and have been so welcoming and generous with your answers to people. You definitely seem like a creative writer. Being a coder is so impressive to me.

Hi! I'm 32F looking for a friend.

I live with chronic illnesses with no cures and in disabled with chronic pain 24/7. I'm mostly homebound but the few times I'm able to leave the house, I love going on walks in nature (parks, gardens, etc.)

My fave distractions are watching anime, shows, and movies, listening to audiobooks, reading, drinking tea, and playing cozy games on the switch or tablet. I sometimes like coloring nature landscapes and do word searches.

Honestly wish I can have a friend that gets what it is like to live with depression, anxiety, ptsd, chronic illnesses, and suicidality due to chronic pain. O: Maybe Looking for mainly a female or lgbtq friend around their late 20's or 30's.
