I majored in film in college so it goes without saying that I'm big on movies. For those of you who will CTB soon, are there any classic, current, or upcoming movies that you would have loved to see but can't because of your impending end?

For me, I'm a sucker for all kinds of stuff. Right off the bat for next year, I will miss not being able to watch Detective Pikachu, Star Wars IX, Avengers 4, Dark Phoenix, Zombieland 2, and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.

More indie films include the wide release of Alfonso Cuarón's Roma, Natalia Almada's Todo lo demás, Jordan Peele's Us, and Matt Johnson's untitled project about time travel.

This doesn't include all the great films I haven't watched yet that are already released.

Don't really care about anything that comes out anymore but that says more about me than anything. I'll always love the films I love and I 'll miss not seeing them again. I did film at college too but dropped out. That was in 2003 and since then I 've seen a lot of films but everything else went to shit. I 'd love whoever Matt Johnson is to lend me their time machine.

Totally feel this... Other than the stuff that I'll never see announced, I'm mostly sad about the list I have of stuff that's already released that I probably won't ever get around to.

One film I recommend everyone to see is "The End of the Tour" directed by James Ponsoldt. It's about the writer David Foster Wallace's last days. He committed suicide about 10 years ago.

I agree with these picks. Although I find a weird comfort in only watching Avengers 3 and ending it there. It's kind of like when I watched the first half of the last Harry Potter film. End it there. No happy endings!

Westworld season 3

Not a movie, but yeah, Westworld is one of the few things in this world that gives me the motivation to keep living. The show offers me the type of temporary escape that I'm looking for (Artificial intelligence, using science and technology to escape or transcend the current human condition, Etc.). It's kind of pathetic when I think about it. Living for a television show. I would love to see season 3, but I'll probably be dead before 2020.

As for movies, there's nothing in 2019 that I would describe as a "must see" film. I'll probably pay to see Avengers and IT: Chapter Two if I'm still alive.

I used to go to a lot of movies but my interest has dropped off as my time grows closer. I end up not going to the ones I've picked out.
