It's not my intent to shroom-shame this fungal oracle of mycology, but what the fuck would a mushroom know about population control? I've seen hundreds of the things pop up in any given yard overnight.
Sad too that this dude was sat there tripping for 12 minutes without anyone thinking to sit him in a quiet corner somewhere to let him ride it out.

Sadly he's right though, people wont implement that because more population means more money to make. Everything's about just making a quick buck and not about real solutions.

I've been listening to one of MacKenna's books ...
him and his brother tripping in the Amazon ...those dudes are out there !
Too much potential 'truth' for this corporate collective swarm nest of a nation steak world.
On the positive side , the trickle down effect means in a few hundred years people might start to get this stuff.
I have also been listening to 'the awakened ape' , dealing with the ideas of toxic civilization in relation to our recent past as
a more tribal organism.

I only watched half way through, and what I got from that is what I always say.
There is enough resources in the world for everyone!
Apparently the population of the world could fit into greater Los Angeles standing shoulder to shoulder, it used to be they could fit on the Isle of Wight.
There is too much waste in developed countries, just have a look at what supermarkets throw out daily. I've experienced first hand the amount of food that's discarded.
We live in a throw away society fuelled on the most part by greed and not need!
