  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

Two pensioners over the age of 90 committed suicide by hanging themselves in two separate incidents in Namibia.

According to the police, a 99-year-old man, Kristof Frans was found hanging with a wire around his neck from a tree in a field at Onandjamba village in Oshikoto, while a 91-year-old woman, Hendrina Ndayola Mwahaluka was also found hanging from a rope in her sleeping room, in Epoli village in Ohangwena.

This one is for the rabid anti-choice horde to ponder over.

By denying these two 90+ year old people the chance to have peaceful, dignified deaths, thanks to the existing primitive, inhumane laws on assisted dying, society has forced them to end their own lives by painful, difficult methods that would have made it very unpleasant for their family & friends.

Assisted suicide would benefit more people than just those who are terminally ill. Those with incurable diseases/conditions whose situation is deteriorating as well as those who have grown so old that they find it difficult to live also deserve the voluntary right to a peaceful & dignified death at a time of their own choosing.
