Whats so wrong with ending it on my terms? Why are people so against assisted suicide especially with mental illness?

It's very difficult for most healthy individuals to understand. Especially if they rely heavily on religious faith.

The theme suicide is tabu. Nobody want to have anything to do with it and think you are just selfish and crazy. They don't know how you feel and hurt inside.

Mainly because people are selfish and would rather not go through the pain of losing you than let your pain end.

Because there's this hard notion that with enough therapy and medication mental illness can always be managed enough to the point a person can live a decent quality of life. No matter how much pain you claim to be one wants to take can't for answer unless it's terminal. It's some hypocritical bullshit really.
