The prices have been increasing since the 80s, a pack of cigs today costs 5 times as much as it used to. I put up with that bullshit as well as the disgusting images they print on the packaging nowadays. But I've had enough this year. Biden wants to ban menthols, New Zealand's government and the EU wants to "create a smoke-free generation", etc.
According to my calculations, the point where one of the last things keeping existence bearable becomes too expensive and too shitty is where life will go from "ambigous" to "definitely not worth living". It's all in the numbers.

I actually didn't notice this in Germany but I only using a little bit of tobacco for my joints since it's less wasteful to lit tobacco in front of the joint instead of weed itself which already burns very badly :P

But hey, the prices probably raised here, when they added those disgusting pictures on the cigs and tobacco boxes.
I mean it's kinda like the shit that Germany did back in 2013, where they put anti drug and suicide ads with text like "It was never worth it! Call the Addiction Helpline 0800 xxxx" (Drug addiction ad) or "Don't Leave your friends behind 0800 xxxxxx" (suicide /Christianity hotline )

Here, they use like the same poster like every year since 2014 or even earlier since I moved across the states after my roommate moved away to some university. Hehe, fucking Pro-Life assholes, they always try to tell people that life is worth living etc.

When I started smoking (in secondary school) B&H Gold cost £2.50 for 20 (was £1.50 for 10), and I was vexed when they bumped up the price to £4, now I wish I'd smoked more back then when I could afford it!
