Im going to get my next tattoo.. And I need some good references for the gates of hell or hell in general..

I think before you get your tattoo, you should read Dante's Inferno and take a look at Milton's 'Paradise Lost.'

Both give an incredible literary understanding of Hell.

I read Dante's Divine Comedy and the tattoo is based of it. There are also some quotes from it in it. But I can't make a Visual for how i want the Visual representation.
