Xanex and alcohol.

Not the healthiest coping mechanisms.

Ok. So I am terrible at math. And one thing that I found worked for me when that was going to escape my control is to give my self a big complicated division problem. Stupid I know but if I concentrate on that and put my panic into solving that .... it kept the shit under my control. Not perfect but..... hey. It works. Eventually.... if you learn what the "feeling" of that control is you won't need to do that problem shit any more.
I have PTSD - and while I am far from cured. I was able to over come a big issue doing this "self training" stuff. Went from clonazapam every 6 hours to none on my own. PM me if you want to hear more.

I just sit them out. I don't have meds so...and generally they start to happen when I think about ending it and the inescapable situation I am in. So I just avoid any stress and hard thinking. I am not going to continue with this any longer. I am going to end it soon. It's getting worse every day.

Medication doesn't work for me, so I just suffer until they go away.

It's so difficult dealing with my panic attackd. I deal with them by either praying, or contemplating hanging myself. It's not easy, very horrible experience.

I have them relatively often due to pressure and anxiety I experience everyday. It's as awful as they say and they don't disappear, I must wait. (Alcohol doesn't help me, medicine even less unless I mix both.)

My biggest key is to just focus on my breathing before the attack and make sure I don't start hyperventilating. If I let myself hyperventilate then I'll totally just go full panic attack and fetal position until I cry it out and it's over.

I usually cry it out seems it's all I'm capable of these days

I keep them hidden inside, I can somehow manage it pretty well. Though I feel like crying and dropping to the ground a lot, but I still have to keep the 'I'm okay', thing going.

Just living takes up so much energy, I constantly feel like just finding a quiet and cozy place to be alone and cry, but I can't.

The crying and dropping to the ground rings true for me too but I'm afraid if I totally lose it I wont be able to stop

Alcohol, alcohol and more alcohol.

Started having attacks on Saturday afternoon and drank 1700ml of vodka from about 3pm on Saturday until some point last night. I don't remember anything from yesterday and have had one attack today already so will be scooting down to the store a bit later for some more alcohol.

It really doesn't work that well for me but is still better than everything else I have tried.

I used to. They started when I was 8 and they were severe enough to prevent me from taking part in most activities until they slowly forced me into complete isolation. I haven't had one since I learned EFT.

I know sertraline has a bad rep but although it hasn't taken away my depression, the one thing it has done for me is take a lot of my panic away. At least, it's taken the edge off it. Other than that I definitely self medicate with alcohol and sometimes Valium.

I have incredibly frightening panic attacks where I go into psychosis and can't tell what's real and what's in my head. I try to shut my eyes and focus on myself, like my breathing and the feel of my hands clenching and unclenching and pray that it ends soon.
This helps for most of my attacks, but when I get really bad ones it's just hell until it's over.

Unfortunately (for me), I need new things. Replays don't do much for me at all...

Drugs, alcohol, generally abusing myself doing stuff I know will make me feel even worse. Probably not a great coping mechanism

I get panic attacks when I'm in crowded places.. i don't know how to cope, i can't think clearly at that time, it feels so clumsy, clueless.. i wait till i feel better enough that i can walk further..or i go and have some food where i can find.. light foods.
