  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

Next year, PayPal should support crypto payments through a simple streamlined process

Guess many unknowledgeable persons will benefit from the move

Right now, there are already obscure exchangers which take the duty but they mostly suck

You may wanna move this to off topic as its not related to suicide...

However, if you were going the extra mile to suggest it will allow you to use bitcoin to pay for dark web transactions or suicide products then its not necessarily any more desirable than bankcards etc. Your personal information is still linked to the bitcoins and you'd still have to "wash" them before you use them in a dark web transaction.

Bitcoin banks have been mandated to start tracking personal info starting in 2021 so the window is closing on cryptocurrency's use for underground transactions.

The past crypto discussions generally appear in the Suicide forum.

Agreed, but washing can be pretty a straight forward & quick process, until now.
