• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

You're on section 2 right? Read my new thread: I got out!

Obviously the last thing I would want is to get caught, but what I meant is I would have to enact the CO method in a tent that was in public place (out of the way, but public none-the-less since I don't have private space I can use) so if I survive several hours of exposure people could get suspicious/start looking for me, pull me out, then put me inside. That's what I was trying to allow for.

Ah great! I look forward to reading how you managed that. Yep I'm on section 2.

I see, how badly does the charcoal smoke up? I'm considering doing the exact same - in a relatively remote (public) location.

Section 2 sounds harder, I would advise taking any medication they give you for now and just saying that it's making you feel better. How on earth did you get on that?

And, I've never tried charcoal before. I'm not sure how long it takes to achieve full death. I'm not so worried about the smoke, more about being discovered unconscious but alive and dragged out. Either because the police become aware of my disappearance or because someone comes across the tent in a field or wherever the next day, tries to see if anyone's in there (idk maybe they want the tent moved) and opens it up after getting no response and "saves" me. That might ne a stretch and just my paranoia talking though.

That's the plan, finished 1 week now, hopefully won't be here the full month. I fucked myself basically, by writing a note which was found, so they had all the evidence they needed.

Right I'm with you, in that case I guess it's all down to picking the right time and location.

I've written notes and a Will but they weren't found during the raid because they were pretty much hidden in effect. I was planning to start ASAP after it gets dark with heating up the charcoal and then bring it in after an hour or so (I think?) and then should have around 8 hours allotted for full death before there's a likelihood of police turning up or people getting suspicious.

What worries me is that I've heard of people being revived after a full day and I would have no cover given I've just been sectioned for associated reasons and would be leaving a Will, contact numbers and notes in a bag in the tent with me.

ok but the fact that you were not only able to fool the police but fool the health professionals too is amazing,if that happened to me the moment i would see the police my social anxiety would shift into full gear and i would start acting really strange, they would probably place me in the mental facility for over a week ;-;.

I managed it because:

a) I just come across in general to people as articulate and level-headed it seems

b) They came to the conclusion I was a lost cause in effect - I told them I had been on medication since the age of 18, had suicidal ideation since the age of 6 and had written to a euthanasia clinic in Switzerland twice previously, had been committed before and it hasn't changed anything in the slightest, had seen CBT practioners, psychiatrists, psychologists and others from a young age and had spent years coming to an intellectual worldview that supported suicide... basically I think they came to the conclusion that putting me on the ward would be a waste of their scarce resources if I wasn't looking to "cooperate" because it would involve paying for my food and accommodation perhaps indefinitely while waiting for me to become "not suicidal"

c) I kept pretty close to the truth with just the occasional tweak and therefore they found me "open and honest" for example I admitted to being suicidal but when they asked about specific methods I ummed and ahhed and said I was apprehensive about whether the ones I had in mind would work, which is technically true. When they asked if I had immediate plans to harm myself if they released me I said no and laughed off the idea as ludicrous saying I just wanted to go and get something to eat (they didn't ask me if I had plans to harm myself less immediately, say in a few days time or a week...)

d) I discredited witnesses - told them (truthfully) that the friend who initially called them is volatile and they could find records of police being called to disturbances at his house that supported this; told them I hadn't spoken to my mum in months and therefore she didn't actually know anything that was going on with me besides what the friend in question had told her

e) I agreed to try pretty much whatever they suggested in terms of CMHT etc. and pointed out I had already been complying when my mum called the police because I wasn't answering the phone to her

I also managed to discredit a police officer who claimed that his colleagues had been called to the house the previous night and had seen evidence of carbon monoxide there. I said that this was impossible because there was absolutely nothing CO-related in my possession that they could have seen, only a tent and flashlights (the tent I also explained was for a possible additional purpose besides just suicide) and that police hadn't even been at the house on the night he claimed they had, rather the night before. I also said that I didn't think it was even possible to purchase the item "carbon monoxide".

I said he should check with the police who attended the house and he then backtracked and said he might have misunderstood his colleagues' summary of events (maybe they hadn't actually seen CO, just heard about it via friend)

Guys, feel sorry for you. I hope no one will find out about me. Even if, as I don't have anyone close here, probably it won't go the same way as in your case. I've always though NHS don't bother that much. I mean once, I've mentioned to my GP that I feel suicidal, and she just said oh, okay don't do anything stupid and here you got number for therapist if you would be really going to kill yourself, please call emergency number, okay bye, good day, next please ... WTF? Seriously I felt ignored that time... so I'm really surprised about your case. Maybe it's just because of relatives ?

Ya, the police don't really care here in the UK/Ireland. It must be a cultural thing.

One reason I've come up with is that the U.S. used to be like the UK and Ireland when it came to suicide but due to lawsuits from family members, it became a priority to respond to suicidal people with police. That must be it since a family that tried to sue the police wouldn't get very far here. Lawsuits here though in general are rare.

Friends betray us a lot. I was so many times that I don't want to remember it.

I also know how it feels, sorry of hear this situation, it sucks.

He probably thought he was helping to save his friends life. "betrayal" is a matter of perspective.

It depends on how strong your criteria of is for friends. I see in those Al Pacino movies, the gangsters seem to be close friends but they would sacrifice anything.

'Funny' story, I expressed my suicidal ideation DEEPLY and got 'kicked out' of secondary school (was still enrolled but could no longer go on the school grounds as they were worried about me distressing others). These guys didn't really care, they were virtue signalling as they say.

I had a similar thing, didn't get kicked out but I got called into the office at college and told that my suicidal feelings were distressing for other students.
