I want to believe that's she's just being protective and this is her way of showing she cares, but I feel like I'm being bullied into getting this testing done. Without having a car, I would have to Uber to a testing site, wait there, submit payment to the government program for the uninsured, hope everything is covered, and then uber home. I could walk to a pharmacy however it is fucking 90+ degrees where I live and I'm extremely anxious walking around by myself for safety reasons. So I have to go through all of this shit, spend at least $20 on transportation, even though I have no symptoms, even though the person that notified me that they felt off is now feeling fine, all so she can feel better about herself I guess. She texted me really early this morning, asking me if I'd made the appointment yet. I haven't responded because I just feel like it's wrong to impose this much on someone else's healthcare choices. It would be one thing if the other party tested positive (since they felt fine they didn't bother with testing -job didn't require it either) or if I started not feeling well. I'm upset, I don't want to lie to her, but she's gotten extremely serious about it and it doesn't sound like she will accept no as an answer. Sucks, she's my only friend.
