  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

I get that you feel behind your siblings and school peers, but everyone moves at a different pace.

I'm going to bore everyone else here by repeating stuff I've said before:

I did not even meet my husband until I was 35. We got married when I was 38. That was way, way later than I expected to marry for the first time. But he's the right guy. Even if I had met him earlier, it couldn't have worked then. We both had to go through a huge amount of shit to get here. But here we are, and it was worth the wait.

There's nothing wrong with working in retail. Somebody has to! The world doesn't work like they told you it did: you cannot do what you want to do and get paid for it. Some very lucky people do get to do something they love for a career, but even they have days or weeks or months or even years that suck. No one is happy all the time, and most certainly not all the time at work.

Lots of people have jobs that pay the bills so that they can use their time off doing what they love. Could be hiking, crafting, making art, dressing up as a furry, who knows? I know people who do historical re-enactments on the weekends and they have jobs that just pay the bills so they can get back to what they love. They even get paid for historical presentations sometimes, too - but it will always be a side hustle, and they're cool with that.

Putting aside your difficulties, what would you like to do? What would make it okay to get out of bed 51% percent of the time?

You're still young, and there's so much more. Some of it will suck, I guarantee you. Everybody's life sucks sometimes. But what if some of it was better? What does better look like? What's most important? Living on your own? A job you enjoy? Being able to follow your favorite band on the road?
