Ah, the perfect thread for me but I'm incredibly late to it. I live and breathe video game music, the only other kind of music I usually listen to is movie songs but even that is incredibly rare for me. It would take me years to post every single video game track I could consider my favorite. I'll probably just start slow by game.

These are the ones which to me definitely sound just as good if not better than the original. Not surprisingly a lot of them are Night themes due to the saxophone.

Haven't played through all of Legends Arceus yet but this theme so far is my favorite mainly due to the section that starts at 1:38.

I recommend it, it presents a concept similar to that of the Chrono Trigger, but they extend it more to the point of making it a game mechanic, time travel, it is a very nice RPG.

MAN! You are literally the second person I meet who knows about the franchise, at least some of its games are already being localized, I discovered it from a Touhou fangame based on its systems.



A song I like from that fangame.

Oh and I've also been really into the soundtrack from The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles (1 and 2). These are the best ones to me:

I used to have an remix for the RS3 last battle back in early 2000s. I think it was from overclockedremix but i lost it then i kept looking for it and i still cant find it. One of my all time favorites. Too bad
