Discussion Stressing about seeming like a fraud

If you're gonna read this read the whole thing otherwise I won't get my point across on what I'm afraid of.
I don't want to bring this guy up because I'm aware a lot of us have heard of that one YouTuber who made a vid about this site and there's already a thread about it, this isn't about him I'll get to the point. Yk the one user he calls "Cake123" and I'm not here to start beef with anyone but did you guys see the comments on that vid? Idk exactly what happened or what they did or if they ever actually encouraged anyone so I won't comment on that BUT basically people in the comments of the YouTube video literally said shit like how they bet that user isn't actually suicidal and is just faking and just wants other people to be blah blah blah because they have SO MANY POSTS and aren't dead yet, that was the gist of those comments that got thousands of likes… and I'm not gonna say whether that's true or not because I can't read anyone's mind. But my fear is if I post here a lot, people will think that about me. But that's not who I am, I don't want to hurt anyone or encourage anyone to CTB or anything like that. So now I'm stressing that if I post a lot, especially over the years and it reaches those numbers, everyone will think I'm some sick fraud who just wants to push other people to suicide and that I don't truly want to die, otherwise I would've done it but that's not true and death isn't easy. People can totally want to die without going through with it, suicide has many many risks and consequences and is so so tedious.

On the topic of seeming like a fraud: Does it really matter? If this site helps us ease the pain and stay alive longer, good. If it helps us end the suffering, that's fine too.

And if anyone truly seems like a sick fraud who just wants to push people to ctb, I'm sure they'd get banned immediately.

Going to the comments of that video never ceases to make me mad~ >_< I would like to point out that he heavily moderates the comments there, which is why there is no dissent against his views about SaSu~
Fortunately, at least within this website, there doesn't tend to be much dislike for long-term members as that is fairly understandable here~ it tends to be something found on other websites tho, which causes many long-term members to worry about it tho~ >_<

They are trolls on this site unfortunetly but dont worry if u are or were suicidal yourself. People can be suicidal but forcefully kept alive because of reason like family, pain they will cause others or just plain fear but that doesnt change the fact that the said person is suicidal.

Its a forum for all suicidal people even those who are in recovery not only people actively planning to CTB in very near future. Dont worry much i dont think anyone thinks of u like that. Also wishing death or pushing people to suicide is fucked up and should be banned wich it is already. This forum is not for that, its a support forum of suicidal people not a suicide cult.

I know he moderates the comments but the comments are still real people, and the comment I mentioned was a very popular one. They just don't understand though. I don't know if that user ever did anything wrong so again I'm not gonna comment on that, it just feels stupid because it's fine to have a lot of posts. People in the comments of the vid acted like because someone doesn't immediately kill themselves after coming here, they are just some sick psychopath. Why? It's a bunch of pro-lifers too so isn't that what they want? For someone to stay alive? I want to post but I'm afraid it could get traced back to me if I ever get famous and I'll be slandered and called a murderer or something even if I didn't do anything or give any method info to anyone.

I know, I think the video heavily misunderstood this site and the people here and everyone in the comments doesn't seem to get it either. And I have my reasons I'm forcefully kept alive right now too.

It does matter because if I feel like a fraud I'll just be too anxious to talk about any of my problems which leads to isolation and such. Also if I continue living, I want to fufill my dreams of being famous one day and I don't wanna get cancelled over this shit because people can find anyone on the internet these days.

I'm certain you are genuine. Being suicidal is messy and painful and multifaceted. These people are bad-faith actors who will take everything of you and twist it to their own needs. Please don't give them more of youself by ruminating or their comments.

The comment section on that video is the worst TAT (we LOVE the plethora sanism and weird anti-kink shit /s) What always gets me is that they obviously don't care enough to think about the implications of their rhetoric. Thinking that the good suicidal people will die but the bad ones will end up living is?? What??? Thank you for telling on yourselves I guess?

For them, the good suicidal people are the dead ones, the ones who cannot speak for themselves, a body count with no agency.

People like that who rile up against suicide forums are just like any politician who fights for a cause without actually centering the people they're talking about. They aren't interested in listening to suicidal people. It's all about making themselves into good, moral citizens.

What helps me deal is by thinking of them like every social worker and school administrator from when I was a kid, how they would talk about me as "disturbed" and "needing additional support." I never told them I was r*ped because I knew at the end of the day all they'd do is put a guy in prison and never think to ask "why weren't you at home?"

These types are most interested in finding bad people to punish, not thinking critically or compassionately. They are not interested in changing the status quo that engenders our yearning for escape, for control, for suicide.

They're the real frauds here. I'd have my work cut out for me if I ever wanted to be on their level.

I agree with a lot of what you said although I do think it's good that if you told workers as a kid about you getting raped they'd put the guy in jail. People who do that deserve to go to jail anyway. But yeah nobody wants to fix the root cause and fix society, they just want to preach things they aren't even educated on. Also curious about the anti-kink shit you said was in the comments because none of this is related to anything sexual, what did they say??? I don't think I saw that stuff.
